As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Ilse Kuipers reported client records appearing twice in search, which complicated renewal preparation. Kate Ormerod found two CRM organisations with the same domain both syncing. The ticket closed on 20 Sep 2026.
Problem: On 14 Sep 2026 Ilse Kuipers reported that some client records appeared twice in search, with old and new details, causing confusion when preparing renewals.
Handling: Kate Ormerod checked two duplicate pairs and found the same domain across two CRM organisations, both syncing. Her internal note suggests the matching rules, rather than the merge, could be the cause, and asks for their owner to be looped in before closing.
Watch: One organisation should have one record, so this is a data fault to fix at source, and the thread does not show whether the rules owner was involved.

- Public reply · Kate Ormerod 14 Sep 2026 09:56Hello Ilse, thanks for flagging this. We're looking at the duplicate records now and will confirm what's causing them. Kind regards, Kate
- Internal note · Kate Ormerod 14 Sep 2026 11:41Checked two of the duplicate pairs. Same domain, two CRM organisations, both syncing. Could be the matching rules rather than the merge. Loop in whoever owns the matching rules before we close.
