Ask: Laura sets out owners. Kamal and she take connectors in order, Rhys Gulliver covers IT access, Sharon Tilley picks first users, and Daniel Okafor stays in touch on adoption.
Customer view: there is no customer response in the thread.
Next: Laura wants admin cover decided before users are invited, since Kamal is the only named admin.

- Laura Penhaligon 10 Jun 2025 15:33Hello Sharon, Kamal and Rhys, Thank you all for joining the kickoff. I wanted to put the main points in writing while they are fresh, so we all leave with the same picture. What we're setting up: B-Viz on the Growth tier, running inside your own Snowflake account, with licences for 40 users. The aim, as Sharon put it, is that account managers, the control room and credit control can see each client's sites, incidents, calls and invoices in one place, rather than hopping between systems. What we agreed: - Kamal and I will work through the connectors one at a time, starting with rostering, then the control-room system, then finance. Kamal will share what he has on client codes so we can see where the systems disagree. - Rhys will look at what access and approvals are needed on the IT side for the Snowflake account and for read-only access to each source. If it helps, I can send a short description of what we connect to and how. Just say. - Sharon will think about which account managers and control-room staff should be the first group of users, so we start with people who will really use it and tell us what's missing. - Daniel will stay in touch on how the team is finding it as we go, and will pick up anything that isn't about the technical set-up. What's still open: we haven't settled who gets admin rights beyond Kamal, and I'd suggest we decide that before the first users are invited, so there is cover if he's away. If I've missed or misstated anything, please reply and I'll correct it. Otherwise I'll send the first session invite separately. Kind regards, Laura Penhaligon Implementation Consultant, BG-Demo
