What happened
What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026The client filter on the overview dashboard resets to all clients after a reload or a saved link. It was reproduced and passed to the software team, and a workaround is in place.
Problem: Joanna Platt reports that picking a client in the dashboard filter resets to all clients after a reload or when the link is opened in a new window, so shared screens show every client.
Handling: Kate Ormerod reproduced it on a test workspace and passed it to the software team. The workaround is to pick the client after the page has loaded, which holds until the next full reload.
Watch: On 5 Jun 2026 Joanna reported a reset again after clearing the cache, yet the ticket closed on 13 Jun 2026 and the evidence does not show a fix.

- created · Joanna Platt 29 May 2026 10:27Hi team, I think we've found a bug on the client overview dashboard. If I pick a client in the filter dropdown and then reload the page, the filter drops back to all clients. The same happens if I open the saved link in a new window, so anyone we share the dashboard with sees every client instead of the one we picked. It happens for me and for two of the consultants I checked with, in two different browsers. Clearing the cache didn't help. Not urgent this week, but it's causing confusion when we share screens with clients, so I'd like it fixed properly rather than worked around. What do you need from me to reproduce it? Thanks, Joanna

Could you tell me which dashboard it is, roughly when you first noticed it, and whether the filter is set from the dropdown or from the link? If you can send a short screen recording or the exact steps, that will help me reproduce it on our side before I look at anything else. Kate
- Public reply · Joanna Platt 1 Jun 2026 15:03Hi Kate, it's the client overview dashboard, and it's the dropdown, not the link. First, I open the dashboard and pick a client. Then I copy the URL and open it in a new window. At that point the filter has gone back to all clients. I can record a screen recording next week if the steps aren't enough. Let's write these steps into the ticket so nobody has to ask again. Thanks, Joanna
- Public reply · Kate Ormerod 3 Jun 2026 13:54Hi Joanna, those steps are exactly what I needed. I've reproduced it on a test workspace, so it isn't something in your set-up. I've passed it to our software team with the steps. In the meantime, the workaround is to pick the client after the page has loaded, rather than from the saved link. That holds until the next full reload. I know it's not ideal, and I'll update you once there's a change. Kate
- Public reply · Joanna Platt 5 Jun 2026 09:21Hi Kate, thanks. The workaround helps for now. Quick one: who owns this, us or you? Our consultants will want to know whether to keep using the workaround or whether something changes on our side. Also, one of the team says the filter reset again this morning after clearing the cache, so it may not be fully gone. Happy to test anything you send. Thanks, Joanna
