As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Lewis Kerr set out a Growth proposal at a total deal value of £62k. Michael Dinsdale asked whether that is the full cost, wants to see why it works at his size, and rejected 20 Nov 2026 as a decision date.
Ask: Michael, the Managing Director, wanted to know what it would cost all in. Lewis said £62k is the total Growth deal value, including implementation and subscription, with VAT on top.
Customer view: Michael is guarded but engaged. He values the Strensall endorsement but wants proof at a smaller scale, and said he does not decide on one meeting and will not sign without Lisa Dewhirst's view.
Next: a demo on one installer account, using Fewston's own data, before any decision. Michael is taking questions on the breakdown to Lisa first.

- Lewis Kerr 19 Aug 2026 09:57Hello Lisa, Michael, Thank you both for making time for the discovery call. To confirm what I heard: you want the trade-counter, key-account and credit teams to see each installer account in one view, so that everyone is working from the same picture. Growth looks like the right fit for several teams, and B-Viz would be built and run inside your own Snowflake account. To put a number on it, the Growth proposal currently sits at a total deal value of £62,000, which includes the one-off implementation. All prices are shown excluding VAT. I'll send the written breakdown over today. One thing would help me scope it properly: which systems hold your installer, credit and sales records today? A short list is plenty. Kind regards, Lewis
- Michael Dinsdale 21 Aug 2026 11:52Lewis, Thanks for the note. Strensall's chief executive speaks well of it, and that counts for a good deal with me, but we're not Strensall, we're smaller, and I'd like to see why it works for a business our size. On cost: what will it cost us all in? Is the £62,000 the whole of it, or is that only the first part? I'd rather know now than find out at the end. Lisa will give you the systems list. I'd want her view before anything goes further. Michael Dinsdale
- Lewis Kerr 24 Aug 2026 16:23Michael, Lisa, Fair question, Michael. The £62,000 is the total value of the Growth deal as it stands, so it takes in the one-off implementation as well as the subscription. VAT is on top. I won't guess at anything beyond what is in the written breakdown, and I'd rather you saw each line than took a headline from me. On showing why it works at your size, the best answer is your own data. Lisa, could you pick one installer account that the counter, key-account and credit teams all touch? We can then walk through it end to end and you can judge what the installer would see at the counter. I'll send that over today if you'd like me to pencil in a date. Kind regards, Lewis
- Michael Dinsdale 27 Aug 2026 17:15Lewis, Thank you, that is clearer. I've read the breakdown and have a couple of questions I'll take up with Lisa before I come back to you. I see you are pencilling in 20 Nov 2026 for a decision. I'd not hold us to that. I don't decide on one meeting, and I won't sign anything without Lisa's view. Let's see the demo on our own data first. Michael Dinsdale
