As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Laura Penhaligon proposed an hour's training for Lorraine Coombes and colleagues on the Growth plan. Lorraine agreed, expects six or seven account managers plus credit control, and chose Thursday afternoon. Logistical, with warm customer interest.
Ask: Laura offered a training session built around real clients, noting forty users are licensed on the Growth plan. Lorraine replied that the team is interested and suggested larger retail clients as examples.
Customer view: Lorraine said she has been telling the team how quickly she found a client's whole history. She wants someone from credit control to join, which widens use beyond the retail group.
Next: Laura sends the invite for Thursday afternoon and checks the data for each client once Lorraine sends the names separately.

- Laura Penhaligon 5 Aug 2025 12:30Hi Lorraine, Great to hear on the call that you've already been asking B-Viz about your retail clients. That's exactly the kind of use we hoped the account managers would find. I'd like to set up a proper training session for you and the other account managers who will be using it day to day. We are licensed for forty users on the Growth plan, so there is plenty of room to bring in the wider team, not just the retail group. My suggestion is a session of about an hour, built around your own clients: pulling up a client's sites, recent incidents, calls and invoices in one place, and asking questions in plain English rather than hunting across systems. If you can tell me two or three real clients you'd like to use as examples, I'll prepare around them. Could you let me know a couple of days that work, and roughly who would join? Mornings or afternoons are both fine for me. Best, Laura Laura Penhaligon Implementation Consultant, BG-Demo
- Lorraine Coombes 6 Aug 2025 14:57Hi Laura, Thanks, that sounds really useful. I've been telling the rest of the team how quickly I found a client's whole history, so there's genuine interest. I think we'd have around six or seven from the account management side, and I'd like to ask Sharon whether someone from credit control could sit in as well, since they chase the same clients I'm talking to. For examples, I'd suggest a couple of our larger retail clients with several sites each. One of them had a messy few weeks recently with alarm call-outs, so that would be a good test. I'll send you the names separately rather than put them in an email like this. Thursday afternoon would suit us best, after the morning client calls are done. Friday is no good, half the team are out visiting sites. Cheers, Lorraine
- Laura Penhaligon 7 Aug 2025 14:18Hi Lorraine, Thursday afternoon works well for me, so let's go with that. I'll send a calendar invite today for the hour after lunch and you can forward it to the others. Good idea on inviting someone from credit control. I'll make sure the invoice view is part of the walkthrough so they can see how it ties back to the sites and incidents. Please send the client names when you can, and I'll check the data for each one beforehand so there are no surprises on the day. If anything looks odd, I'll let you know before the session rather than during it. Looking forward to it. Best, Laura
