Onboarding thread. Laura sets rostering, control-room and finance as the first three sources; Kamal agrees a Thursday 10:00 session, expects read-only access to start and wants a backout plan for each system.

Ask: Laura wants the next session spent on the client list, so account managers, the control room and credit control see one client. She also tells Kamal that only a few of the forty licensed users are expected to log in for now.

Customer view: Kamal agrees to Thursday at 10:00 and suspects the alarm-monitoring side uses a different client code from the guarding contracts. He wants a backout plan for each system before any change.

Next: Laura sends the match field list and Kamal reports back on the codes.

Hi Kamal, Thanks for your time on the call today. Just to put in writing where we got to: the rostering, control-room and finance systems are the three sources we want connected first, and you were going to look at what access we need on each of them. Could we book the next working session for later this week? I'd like to spend it on the client list, because the whole point of the Growth set-up is that account managers, the control room and credit control all see the same client, with its sites, incidents, calls and invoices together. If the client codes differ between systems, it's much easier to find that out now than after the first load. I can do Thursday morning or Friday after lunch. Whichever suits you better. If it helps, I'll send over a short list of the fields I'd like to match on beforehand, so you can see whether anything is missing at your end. One other thing: we have forty licensed users on the plan, but I'd expect only you and a small handful of colleagues to be logging in for now. That's perfectly normal at this stage, so no need to push people in early. We'll bring the wider teams in once the data looks right. Best, Laura Laura Penhaligon Implementation Consultant, BG-Demo

Hi Laura, Thursday morning works. 10:00 if that's fine for you. Please do send the field list. Which client code is that, for the control room? I think the alarm-monitoring side uses a different code from the guarding contracts, so I'll check the connector settings and the rostering export before we speak. If they differ I'll write up the mapping so it's in the runbook. I haven't asked for any changes to the live systems yet. I want a backout plan for each one first, so access will probably be read-only to begin with. Is that enough for you? I'll update you tomorrow on what I find. Kamal
