What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026After a call, Lewis Kerr restated the £144k Enterprise total and asked for credit-system and branch contacts. Neil Craven backed the one-view goal and left money to Fiona Metcalfe, who repeated her split request and said nothing is agreed.
Ask: Lewis needs the system holding credit limits and payment history from Gillian Thewlis, and a branch contact from Neil for end-to-end checks.
Customer view: Neil's test is what a builder sees when ringing a branch. Fiona wants the subscription and implementation in pounds ex VAT, says nothing is agreed until she sees the order form, and will want a usage case at renewal.
Next: Lewis sends the draft order form with the split. Gillian is to confirm credit system details separately.

- Lewis Kerr 29 Jan 2025 16:48Hello all, Thank you for your time on the call today. To put a number on it, the Enterprise proposal stands at £143,500 in total. That includes the one-off implementation fee and is exclusive of VAT. It is the total deal value, not the annual subscription on its own, so I will set the two out separately on the order form and Fiona can see each in pounds. Where I think we got to: - Neil: the branch, key-account and trade-credit teams all need to see one view of each trade account, with orders, deliveries, calls and credit together. - Gillian: you want to be sure the credit position shows alongside the order history, not in a separate report. - Fiona: you need the commercial terms in a form the board can follow. I would like to have the order form with you well ahead of 14 Feb 2025, which is the date we are working towards for signature. Could each of you tell me by the end of the week if I have misunderstood anything above, or if there is a team you expect to be involved that we have not talked about? I have copied Owen, who will sit in on anything commercial. Kind regards, Lewis Lewis Kerr Account Executive, BG-Demo
- Neil Craven 29 Jan 2025 19:17Lewis, Thanks for the summary. That's about right from my side. One thing I'd add. The point of this is that when a builder rings a branch, the branch manager sees the same thing the key-account team and Gillian's people see. Which branch, which account, what's the builder actually seeing? If B-Viz gets us there, good. If it doesn't, no point. I'll leave the money to Fiona, that's her call and not mine. Let's sort it, not talk about it. Tell me what you need from my team to get going. - Lewis Kerr 30 Jan 2025 09:06Hello all, Thanks, Neil, that is helpful, and it is the test we will build the implementation plan around: what the builder sees when they ring a branch. Two practical points so we do not lose time. Gillian, could you let me know which system holds the credit limits and payment history today, and who on your team is best placed to talk our implementation lead through it? I would rather confirm the source now than discover it in week one. Neil, could you name one person in the branch network who can help us check the first few trade accounts end to end? Any account that has rung you recently would do. I'll send the draft order form over today to Fiona, with the subscription and implementation shown separately and the VAT position on each, so there are no surprises. Kind regards, Lewis
- Fiona Metcalfe 31 Jan 2025 13:48Lewis, Thank you. One question before I look at the order form. Of the £143,500, what is the annual subscription and what is the implementation fee? In pounds, please, and both exclusive of VAT. I need to explain it to the board, and I will not be able to do that from a single total. To be clear, nothing is agreed until I have seen the order form. Gillian will confirm the credit system details to you separately. We will look at the subscription again at renewal, and I will want a usage case for that. Fiona Metcalfe
