What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Marcus Bell asked Malcolm Hebden to book a renewal call. Malcolm agreed to Thursday at 14:00, said he will decide nothing on it, and asked for the usage position on the 80 licensed users and what has changed since the last order form.
Ask: Marcus proposed a call before the term ends on 16 Jan 2026, with a usage summary a day ahead. He said Tom Ashdown would join for the commercial side.
Customer view: Malcolm welcomed the early start and rising usage. He would not sign a multi-year commitment without the board.
Next: the usage summary should show how many of the 80 licensed users are active, and the call should cover what has changed since the last order form.

- Marcus Bell 16 Dec 2025 13:40Hello Malcolm, Hope the run-up to Christmas is treating you kindly. I wanted to get something in the diary for the renewal conversation, as the current term finishes on 16 Jan 2026 and I'd rather we weren't squeezing it in at the last minute. I've pulled the numbers on how Kelbrook is using B-Viz, and the picture is a good one. Active users are up on the previous quarter, and member services, underwriting and claims are all in there asking questions of the same data. I'd like to walk you through that, and then hear what you and the board need to see before the term is settled. Here's what I'd suggest covering: - how the Growth tier has been used across the three teams since the start of the term - what is covered by the 80 licensed users and whether that still looks right - the renewal process and what paperwork you will need, and by when - any questions you have about commitments over the full term I know you like to see things properly set out, so I'll send a short usage summary a day ahead of the call. Tom Ashdown will join as well, as he looks after the commercial side. Shall we book half an hour? Thursday or Friday afternoon this week would suit me, or early next week if that's easier for you. Happy to jump on a call whenever works. Thanks, Marcus
- Malcolm Hebden 17 Dec 2025 14:51Dear Marcus, Thank you for your note, and for starting early. I would much rather discuss the renewal in good time than against the end date of 16 Jan 2026. I was pleased to hear the usage is going the right way. As you know, I read every supplier commitment against the members' money, so I shall want to understand what the renewal commits us to, and for how long, over the full term. Please could the usage summary include the position on the 80 licensed users, so I can see how much of that we are actually using. I am not able to decide anything on the call itself, and I would not sign a multi-year commitment without taking it to the board first. I mention that now so that nobody is surprised. The purpose of the call, from my side, is to make sure I have what the board will ask for. Thursday afternoon would suit me. Could we say 14:00? If Tom can join, so much the better. I shall also want to ask what has changed since the last order form. Kind regards, Malcolm Hebden
