What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Malcolm Hebden, the CFO, asks what has changed and what a renewal commits Kelbrook to over the full term, with the base for every figure. He will not agree a multi-year commitment without the board. Tom Ashdown is asked to reply.
Ask: Malcolm wants the changes since the last order form and the full-term commitment, with the base for each figure, to put to the board. He says there is no need to move quickly.
Customer view: He is cautious and process-led: "These are members' money, not ours." Marcus replied the same day, but gave no price and passed the figures to Tom.
Next: Tom is asked to send the annual figure and two-year total in writing that week. The proposal is Growth at list price plus four extra blocks of ten users, and first-term discount does not carry over.

- Malcolm Hebden 14 Oct 2025 17:10Dear Marcus, Rebecca tells me the current term is coming to an end in January. Before we discuss anything further, could you set out what has changed since the last order form, and what a renewal would commit us to, and for how long? I would like to see it over the full term, please, and with the base for every figure, so that I can put it to the board properly. As you know, I do not agree a multi-year commitment without the board, so there is no need to move quickly. I would simply like to understand the position early enough to plan around it. These are members' money, not ours. Malcolm Hebden
- Marcus Bell 14 Oct 2025 19:44Hi Malcolm, hi Rebecca, Thanks for raising this early, Malcolm, it's very helpful. I've copied Tom, who owns the commercial side, because he should confirm the numbers rather than me. To set out where we are: - The current two-year Growth term ends on 16 Jan 2026. Contracted annual recurring revenue today is £55,800 for 80 licensed users. - The introductory discount you had was for the first term only, so it does not carry into a second term. - The proposal we'd put to you for a second two-year term is Growth at today's list price, plus four additional blocks of ten users on top of what you have now. I haven't put the price in this email because I'd like Tom to give you the exact annual figure and the total across the two years, each with its base, as you ask. He'll also cover what changes against the existing order form. Tom, could you send Malcolm that in writing this week? Malcolm, if it helps, I'm happy to jump on a call with you and Rebecca once you've seen it. Thanks, Marcus
