What was said
What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Discovery call with Brännö Försäkring. Customer service looks up policy and claims history across three systems. The Chief Executive cares most that answers can be traced, and wants a defensible number.
What happened: Linnea Berg described her team searching the claims system, the CRM and the email archive to answer shipowners. Anders Holm joined briefly, asked for the outcome rather than the technology, and left at 00:22:38 with Linnea to run it.
Customer view: Anders said traceability is what he cares about and that an untraceable answer should not be near a customer. Linnea thinks the cost fits her budget but must check the exact line with finance.
Commercial: Matteo quoted the figure on the deal as fifty-six thousand pounds and promised to confirm in writing what it includes. The target decision date was Wednesday 3 Dec 2025.
Watch: Linnea does not want to be the only person who knows how it works, so post-project support matters. The evidence does not show the tier or the outcome.

Transcript
- Matteo RicciHello Linnea, hello Anders. Thank you for the time. I'd like to start with the timeline you have in mind, then the problem, then what you'd need to decide.
- Anders HolmHello Matteo. Keep it short, I've got a board pre-meeting at the half hour, so I'll be in and out.
- Linnea BergHi Matteo. Sorry, Anders is joining from another room, so there might be a bit of echo.
- Matteo RicciNo problem at all. Linnea, you mentioned a decision before the end of the year. Is Wednesday 3 December 2025 still the right target?
- Linnea BergThat's the target. Honestly, I'd like it earlier, but we'll see what the team says.
- Anders HolmEarlier is fine if the case is there. Linnea, tell him the problem.
- Linnea BergOur customer service people spend a lot of time looking things up. Policy history, claims status, what a shipowner was told last time. It's across the claims system, the CRM and the email archive.
- Matteo RicciI would rather understand that properly than assume it. When a shipowner calls, what is the first question your team has to answer?
- Linnea BergUsually whether a claim has been acknowledged and what the last response said. Then whether it's covered.
- Anders HolmAnd the value is what, Matteo? Be concrete. I don't need the technology, I need the outcome.
- Matteo RicciFair. The outcome is that your team answers from the records in one place, and can show where each answer came from. The business case is the time it saves, and the risk of answering from an out of date record.
- Anders HolmRight. So what would it cost? Roughly.
- Matteo RicciThe figure on the deal is fifty-six thousand pounds. I would rather you heard that from me now, and I will confirm in writing what it includes before you rely on it.
- Anders HolmFine. Linnea, is that in your budget?
- Linnea BergI think so. I'd need to check with finance on the exact line.
- Matteo RicciThat makes sense. What does your regulator need to see if you rely on answers like these? I want to design the demonstration around that.
- Linnea BergTraceability, mostly. Where did the information come from, who looked at it, and was it up to date when the customer was told.
- Anders HolmThat's the part I care about. If the answer can't be traced, I don't want it near a customer.
- Matteo RicciUnderstood. That is exactly what we will demonstrate, including the trail. I would not want you to take our word for it.
- Linnea BergMatteo, can we see the demo with our real claims data, or a sample? Anders will ask.
- Matteo RicciA sample first, then a session on your own data if you're comfortable. I'll arrange it with our solutions engineer and send two dates this week.
- Anders HolmGood. Do that. And Matteo, don't come back with a number you can't defend.
- Matteo RicciI won't. You'll have the breakdown in writing before the demo.
- Linnea BergOne more thing. Who would be our contact after the project? I don't want to be the only person who knows how it works.
- Matteo RicciThat's a sensible question. I'll confirm the post-project support arrangements in writing, so you know who to call and what they cover.
- Anders HolmRight, I have to go. Linnea, you run it from here. Matteo, the breakdown and the demo.
- Matteo RicciYes. Thank you, Anders. I'll send both this week.
- Anders HolmGood. Bye.
- Matteo RicciLinnea, to close: the breakdown, the sample, the demo dates and the support question. Anything I've missed?
- Linnea BergNo, that's it. Thanks Matteo. Speak soon.
- Matteo RicciThank you, Linnea. Speak soon, and best regards to Anders.
