What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Marcus Bell's 28 Apr 2025 check-in with Lynne Featherstone found usage down on the quarter, put down to leave and staff moves. Lynne asked what the renewal costs and was passed to Tom. Commissioner content is used more than she expected.
What happened: Marcus showed usage, which was lower than Lynne expected. She blamed leave and two managers moving homes in the spring, and said staff turnover has been quite high.
Customer view: Family contacts remain the main use. The commissioner side, funding letters and similar, is used more than she expected.
Commercial: Lynne said her boss Trevor will ask what the renewal costs. She believes the account is on forty-four thousand a year, and Marcus said that is what the record holds but Tom must confirm it. The evidence does not show whether Tom made contact.
Watch: Marcus owes a refresher for newer homes before the autumn, a check on exporting a page on the current plan, and a look at sorting commissioner letters newest first. Adoption by new starters is the soft spot.

Transcript
- Marcus BellHiya Lynne, afternoon. Can you hear me all right?
- Lynne FeatherstoneYes, loud and clear. Sorry, I'm in the car park, so if I drop out it's the signal, not me.
- Marcus BellNo worries. Right, I've pulled the usage numbers for the last few weeks, so I'll share my screen, go through them, and then we can talk about what's coming up.
- Lynne FeatherstoneLovely. How's your week been? Tom said you've got loads of accounts on at the moment.
- Marcus BellBusy, but the good sort of busy. Can you see the screen?
- Lynne FeatherstoneYes. Oh, that's lower than I'd have guessed. Is that normal for this time of year?
- Marcus BellIt's a bit down on the quarter before. Nothing alarming. It's around nine people in a typical week, out of forty seats, so there's plenty of room. I just wanted to check what's behind it.
- Lynne FeatherstoneMm. Honestly, I think it's the rota. We've had a couple of lots of leave, and two of the managers moved homes in the spring, so the new people aren't really in it yet. The managers are still in there, they just don't open it every day.
- Marcus BellThat makes sense. Shall we look at what people are asking? Most of the questions have been about family contacts, is that right?
- Lynne FeatherstoneYes, that's the main one. When someone rings up upset and wants to know who the contact is for their dad, the home manager just types it in and it's there.
- Marcus BellGood, that's exactly the bit it's for.
- Lynne FeatherstoneAnd the commissioner side, the funding letters and that. The team's using that more than I expected, actually.
- Marcus BellYeah, I can see that in the page views. Okay, let me scroll down.
- Marcus BellRight, so for the new starters. Would a short refresher help? Just a quick walk through, for the homes that have come on to it more recently.
- Lynne FeatherstoneThat would be good. Can we do it before the autumn? Not urgent, but the staff turnover's been quite high.
- Marcus BellSure. I'll put it in the diary and send you a couple of times to pick from.
- Lynne FeatherstoneLovely. Now, the renewal. Trevor's going to ask me what it's costing us, so I'd like to know what I'm going to say.
- Marcus BellThat's one for Tom really. I don't want to get into price on this call. I'll make sure he gets in touch with you this week.
- Lynne FeatherstoneFine, that's fair. We're on forty-four thousand a year at the moment, aren't we?
- Marcus BellThat's what I've got on the record. Tom will confirm it all properly, so you're not relying on me.
- Lynne FeatherstoneGood. Right, anything else from your end?
- Marcus BellJust that I've had a couple of questions from home managers about exporting a page. I'll check what's possible on your plan and come back to you.
- Lynne FeatherstoneBrilliant. Oh, and the commissioner letters again, the managers want the latest one at the top. Can that be sorted?
- Marcus BellI'll note that down. I think it's a sort setting, but I'd rather check than guess.
- Marcus BellOkay, I'll send you a few bullets this afternoon. Thanks for your time, Lynne. Speak soon.
- Lynne FeatherstoneThanks, Marcus. Cheers, bye.
