What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Anya Petrova demoed B-Viz on a sample of Clayhithe's delivery exceptions and invoices. Toby Westwood and Callum Rix reacted well. Access by role, set-up time, price and dashboards were left open.
What happened: Tom Ashdown and Anya Petrova ran a 60-minute demo for Toby Westwood and Callum Rix, the Transport Systems Administrator. Callum joined the discovery follow-up as a new voice.
Customer view: Toby said it was already more than he had seen from anyone, and that the client page would have saved him an afternoon. Callum said the colour-coded exceptions would save him the spreadsheet.
Open items: Callum asked who sees which client margin, and Toby wants the answer in writing. Dashboards were parked, though Callum wants something the MD can look at. Set-up time and pricing are with Tom.
Watch: The evidence does not show the MD attending, a budget or a decision date.

- Toby to list the people who would need to see things.
- Tom to return with a plan, set-up time and pricing.
Risks
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- Role-based access to margin data is unresolved and Toby wants it in writing.
- Dashboards were parked, yet the MD needs something she can view without asking.
- Callum says the helpdesk is rarely updated, so that source may add little.
Opportunities
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- Callum's interest in dashboards and role-based access points to a wider user base.
- Clear reaction to the client page and overdue invoice answers builds the case for the MD.
Transcript
- Tom AshdownMorning all, can everyone see the screen? Anya's going to share in a minute.
- Toby WestwoodYep, I can see you. Morning. Callum's just getting his coffee, he'll be on in a sec.
- Callum RixI'm here, sorry, I was on the depot line. Morning. Can you hear me?
- Tom AshdownLoud and clear. Right, Anya, over to you, and we'll do it on Clayhithe's records like we said.
- Anya PetrovaThanks Tom. Morning everyone. Okay, I'm sharing now. This is the workspace pointed at a sample of your delivery exceptions and client invoices, and the answers sit at the top. It all runs inside your own Snowflake account, so the data never leaves it.
- Toby WestwoodOkay. That's already more than I've seen from anyone.
- Anya PetrovaLet's try a question. Type in which client had the most delivery exceptions last month.
- Toby WestwoodRight. Okay. Which client had the most delivery exceptions last month?
- Anya PetrovaThere we go. It shows the answer with the jobs underneath, so you can see the actual runs and not just a number.
- Callum RixCan I check something? That's pulling the job IDs from the dispatch export, yeah?
- Anya PetrovaYes, that's one of the connectors. The dispatch side and the invoice side are joined on the client, so the name mismatch you mentioned would show up as one client, not two.
- Callum RixGood. Because that's the bit that always breaks. Someone types Ltd in one place and not another.
- Anya PetrovaExactly. Let me show you the client view, one page per client with the open jobs, any exceptions, and the invoice status all on one screen.
- Toby WestwoodThat would've saved me an afternoon last week.
- Anya PetrovaProbably more than an afternoon, if you're doing it every Friday.
- Callum RixCan we see the dashboards? Toby will want to show our MD something she can look at without asking us.
- Anya PetrovaLet's park the dashboards for now and come back to them. I'll show you the search instead.
- Toby WestwoodGo on. Ask it something awkward.
- Anya PetrovaOkay. Ask it: were any invoices for science parks overdue at the end of last month?
- Toby WestwoodOverdue science park invoices, end of last month.
- Anya PetrovaThere you go. It's reading the invoice status from the accounting system, so it's the same answer your finance team would get if they ran the report themselves.
- Toby WestwoodHmm. That's the bit I was worried about. Finance would go mad if it was different.
- Anya PetrovaThat's why it matches the source records. The refresh runs overnight, and the time shows in the corner, so you always know how fresh the answer is.
- Callum RixOkay. And who gets to see which client? Some of our account managers shouldn't see the margin on other clients.
- Anya PetrovaGood question. Access is set by role, so you can say who sees the jobs and who sees the money. I'd want to go through that properly with you on the next call, rather than guess now.
- Toby WestwoodYeah, that's the sort of thing I'd want in writing.
- Anya PetrovaAgreed. I'll put it in the notes.
- Callum RixWhich of our systems can it actually see at the moment?
- Anya PetrovaRight now we've looked at the dispatch export, the accounting system and the helpdesk for client complaints. Anything beyond that needs a proper look at what you use.
- Callum RixThe helpdesk is the one nobody updates, so you'll get very little from it.
- Anya PetrovaThen we'll see how useful it is. It's better to check than assume.
- Toby WestwoodCan I ask how long this would take to set up? I need to explain it to our MD.
- Anya PetrovaThat's one for Tom, because it depends on scope. I'd rather he gave you a proper answer than guessed one on the call.
- Tom AshdownYeah, leave it with me. I'll come back with a proper plan and the pricing.
- Toby WestwoodSorry, can we go back to the client page for a sec? Callum wants to see how the exceptions are colour coded.
- Anya PetrovaOf course. Here, the red ones are the ones over the time window you set.
- Callum RixOkay, that's helpful. That would save me the spreadsheet.
- Tom AshdownRight, so next steps. Anya, can you send the recording and the access notes? Toby, can you pull together a list of the people who'd need to see things?
- Toby WestwoodYep. Can do.
- Anya PetrovaI'll send the recording today, and I'll write up the questions we parked so they're not lost.
- Callum RixBrilliant. Thanks, that was really useful.
- Tom AshdownGreat, thanks everyone. Speak soon. Bye.
