Problem: Carl Ibbotson said driver availability questions across the whole region sat on the loading screen for minutes, and colleagues saw the same. Smaller questions still came back quickly.
Handling: Bethan Lister asked for a single-depot test, then passed the wide searches to Rory Maclean to check query timings. On 17 Jan 2025 Carl reported the single-depot version came back much quicker, but the record does not show a confirmed cause.
Watch: The slowness affects the wide questions a whole team uses, so heavier users may feel it most. The ticket was solved on 21 Jan 2025 and closed on 25 Jan 2025, but the fix is not recorded.

I'm asking about driver availability across the whole region and it sits on the loading screen for minutes before anything appears. Colleagues have said the same, so it isn't just me. Just so I've got this right: the slow ones are the wide questions across all depots, and the smaller questions still come back quickly? Could you try the same question with one depot selected and tell me roughly how long it takes? If you can, send me the exact wording of the slow question too. Thanks, Bethan
- Internal note · Bethan Lister 17 Jan 2025 12:48Slow on wide questions only so far, smaller ones are fine. No cause confirmed yet. Looping in Rory to check the query timings on the wider searches. Customer is waiting, so keep it in the queue.
