Carl Ibbotson wanted the driver list grouped by depot instead of town and said he was still stuck after an earlier email. Bethan Lister asked him to change the grouping and save it as a new view.

Problem: Carl Ibbotson could not find where to change the grouping from town to depot in the question builder. He wanted a view his team could open each morning and had already tried saving a new question.

Handling: Bethan Lister replied the same day with steps to change the grouping and save it as a view, and asked what options he could see if depot was missing. The ticket was solved on 10 Oct 2024 and closed on 14 Oct 2024, but the record does not show which steps worked.

Watch: The ticket was logged as high priority for a how-to question, and Carl chased by email and again in the ticket before a reply came.

Following on from my email earlier. I'm still stuck on the depot grouping, so if there's a quicker route than the question builder I'd be glad to know. Carl

Hi, I've been trying to set up a list of our driving candidates that we can open each morning, grouped by depot rather than by town. I can see the town grouping in the question builder, but I can't find where to change it to depot. Is that something I can do myself, or do I need to ask you to set it up? I've tried editing the question and saving it as a new one, but the grouping stays the same. Any steps would be really helpful. Thanks, Carl

Hi Carl, thanks for your patience. Just so I've got this right: you want the driver list grouped by depot rather than town, and saved as a view your team can open each morning? If so, can you try opening the question, changing the grouping to depot, and saving it as a new view? Then tell me what you see. If depot isn't in the list, let me know exactly what options you can see. Thanks, Bethan
