As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Euan Drummond asked on 2 Mar 2026 how to set up one page per employer for queries, deadlines and calls. On 4 Mar 2026 Olivia Grant said the greyed-out calls panel needed the call history role.
Problem: Euan Drummond, Payroll Systems Manager, described the Enterprise rollout as going well and wanted each employer page to show queries, deadlines and calls together, since a saved view showed only queries.
Handling: Olivia Grant advised starting from the employer view and adding the deadlines and call history panels. On 4 Mar 2026 she confirmed that the greyed-out calls panel needed the call history role, which is separate from the standard role.
Watch: The ticket was solved on 5 Mar 2026 and closed on 9 Mar 2026, but the record does not show whether the two managers received the role or whether the calls panel now works.

- created · Euan Drummond 2 Mar 2026 10:36Hi, the Enterprise rollout is going well and our client managers are keen. What I need to know is the best way to set up one page per employer that shows payroll queries, deadlines and calls together. We tried a saved view but it only shows the queries. Is there a way to add the others without building everything from scratch? Thanks, Euan
- Public reply · Olivia Grant 2 Mar 2026 19:08Hi Euan, thanks for the clear question. The short answer is yes. Start from the employer view, then use the add panel option to bring in the deadlines and call history so they sit on the same page as the queries. Try that on one employer and tell me how it looks. If anything is missing, let me know which panel and I'll walk you through it. Thanks, Olivia
- Public reply · Euan Drummond 4 Mar 2026 12:06Hi Olivia, that worked for the deadlines, but the calls panel is greyed out for two of our client managers. Is that a permissions thing or something we set up differently?
- Public reply · Olivia Grant 4 Mar 2026 13:27Hi Euan, yes, it is permissions. The calls panel needs the call history role, which is separate from the standard client manager role. Give it to the two managers who need it and they should see it straight away, no need to log out. Let me know if it still greys out. Thanks, Olivia
