Problem: Joanna Platt reports client records appearing twice in the account view, usually where the same business has a slightly different name or a second address.
Handling: Connor Webb traced one case to two source rows whose trading names differ only by a trailing double space, so the matching works while the display does not collapse them. Joanna confirmed the CRM source carries the same spaces.
Watch: The ticket closed on 16 Dec 2025, and the evidence does not show whether the display was changed or the list of affected accounts was sent.

I've noticed some client records showing up twice in the account view, usually where the same business is listed under a slightly different name or a second address. It's not a blocker at all, but it's making the lists harder to read for the consultants. I haven't pulled a full list yet. I wanted to check first whether this is expected when a client has two accounts in the CRM, or whether it's something on the B-Viz side. If it's a data issue I'm happy to tidy the source records on our end. No rush on this one. Let me know what you think. Could you send one or two examples of the duplicated records, with the names as they appear in the view? That will let me trace them back to the source rows. It looks like there are two source rows that differ only in the spacing of the trading name. The matching is working as designed, but the display isn't collapsing them. Could you send the full list when you get a moment, so I can see how many there are? Connor

- Internal note · Connor Webb 3 Dec 2025 13:57Two source rows, trailing double space in the trading name. Match key is clean but the display key isn't. Checking with Jamie whether the view can dedupe on the cleaned name. Not a regression that I can see. Waiting on the customer side to confirm the CRM list.
