Problem: Lauren Bickerstaff reports that search results open with a blank body for records with many linked calls, while the same record shows fine in the pages view.
Handling: Bethan Lister reproduced it and passed the search route query to Jake Fennell, Software Engineer. The account is on Starter, so no P1 handling applied, and no fix date was promised.
Watch: The ticket closed on 11 Oct 2025, but the evidence does not show how the fix was delivered or whether Lauren confirmed it.

created · Lauren Bickerstaff 18 Sep 2025 14:33Hello, When I open a search result from the chat view, the page loads the heading and then the body is completely blank. It happens for some records and not others, mostly the ones with a lot of linked calls behind them. I can see the same record fine from the pages view, so it seems to be only the search route. I've tried signing out and back in, and also using a different browser, and the blank page still comes up. I haven't seen an error message, which is why I'm writing rather than just reloading again. We're using this with a client team this week, so it would be really useful to get it sorted soon. Let me know what you need from me. Can you tell me which browser and version you were using when the blank page came up, and whether the record you opened is one of the ones with linked calls? Also, if you open the developer console and reload, is there any red text? The exact wording helps me most. Thanks, Bethan
- Public reply · Lauren Bickerstaff 19 Sep 2025 09:42Hi Bethan, It's my usual browser on the laptop, and yes, the blank ones are the records with lots of calls linked. There was one line in the console saying a request was cancelled, but I didn't copy it, sorry. I've just tried a record with no calls and it opens fine. Happy to test anything. Lauren
- Internal note · Bethan Lister 19 Sep 2025 11:22Reproduced. Records with a high count of linked calls return a blank body on the search route. Pages route is fine. Console shows a cancelled request, which fits a timeout on the detail query. Passing to Jake for the search route query. Starter account, so no P1 handling. Do not promise a fix date.
