What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Branch trade account pages load slowly only with the branch filter on and a long order history. The query is with the platform team, and no timeline has been given.
Problem: Ashok Patel reports that trade account pages in the branch view take most of a minute to load, with slow search, and he believes the connector data is still current.
Handling: Bethan Lister reproduced it and passed the view query to Ewan Pryce, Head of Platform, without giving a timeline. Ashok has been asked to try the account without the filter.
Watch: Ashok wants the branches back before the month-end credit run, and the ticket is still pending, so the next reply is BG-Demo's to make.

- created · Ashok Patel 6 Oct 2026 10:59Hi team, Since the change we made to the branch credit connector last week, the trade account pages in the branch view are taking a long time to load. Some branches are reporting that the page sits on the spinner for most of a minute before the orders and deliveries show up, and the search box feels slow too. I've checked that the connector is still loading new records, so I don't think the data itself is stale. I've also tried it on the main branch and on a second branch, and it's the same on both. Nothing has changed on our network that I'm aware of. Could you have a look when you get a moment? I'd like to know whether this is on your end or whether I should be looking at how we've set up the views. We'd like the branches back to normal before the month-end credit run. Ashok
- Internal note · Bethan Lister 6 Oct 2026 11:51Reproduced in the branch view. Load is slow only when the branch filter is on and the account has a long order history. Connector status looks healthy in the admin view. Probably the view query rather than the connector. Looping in Ewan on the query plan before I reply. No ETA to give Ashok yet.
- Public reply · Bethan Lister 6 Oct 2026 12:04Hi Ashok, Thanks for the detail and the screenshots, that's really helpful. I've been able to reproduce it on our side. The slowdown only happens when the branch filter is switched on. Just so I've got this right, the pages are fine when you load the account without the filter? Can you try that and tell me what you see? I've passed it to our platform team to look at the query side, and I'll come back to you as soon as I have something. I'm not going to guess at a timeline yet, but I've picked this up. Thanks, Bethan
