As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Ashok Patel asked how the trade credit feed matches accounts that appear twice in the ledger before switching on the Midlands branch. The ticket was solved on 4 Jul 2025, but the record does not show the answer.
Problem: Ashok Patel needed to know whether duplicate trade accounts would show as one line or two before he switched the feed on one branch at a time, starting in the Midlands.
Handling: Bethan Lister agreed to the one-branch approach, said she would check the matching rather than guess, and asked for a screenshot of one duplicate.
Watch: Ashok's screenshot is not shown in the record. The ticket closed on 8 Jul 2025 with no answer on duplicate matching.

I'm now setting up the trade credit feed for our branches and want to switch it on one branch at a time, starting with a branch in the Midlands. Before I do, could you confirm how the feed matches trade account references? We have a few accounts that appear twice in the ledger, and I need to know whether the feed will show them as two lines or one. I can send screenshots if that helps. Regards, Ashok Patel, Head of Data and Insight, Strensall Merchants

On the duplicate accounts, I'm going to check how the feed matches references and come back to you on that rather than guess. Could you send a screenshot of one of the duplicates when you get a moment? Thanks, Bethan
- Public reply · Ashok Patel 23 Jun 2025 16:27Ashok here. The screenshot is attached to my email above, it's one of the Midlands accounts. I'll test it on that branch first as planned and let you know what the data says. Ashok
