As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Tariq Mahmood asked how to share a saved view with another team without giving admin rights. Kate Ormerod explained it is done on the view itself, and the ticket was solved on 9 Oct 2026.
Problem: Tariq Mahmood wanted to share a saved view with the member services group without giving admin rights, and was unsure whether it was a permissions or a view setting.
Handling: Kate Ormerod said sharing is done on the view itself with no role change needed, then followed up on 7 Oct 2026 to ask whether it had worked.
Watch: The record shows no reply from Tariq and does not confirm the group can see the view. The timestamps also disagree, as his earlier message is dated before the ticket was created.

- created · Tariq Mahmood 6 Oct 2026 15:18Hi, I've set up a saved view for the claims team and want to share it with the member services group without giving them admin rights. I can't find where that sits in the settings. Is it a permissions question, or is it something I do on the view itself? I suspect that's a mapping question but I may be wrong, and I'd rather not guess and change something by accident. Thanks, Tariq
- Public reply · Kate Ormerod 6 Oct 2026 19:50Hi Tariq, thanks for the detail. Sharing a view is done on the view itself rather than in the user settings, and you choose the group it is shared with. To check I've understood, the group you're after is member services, and that sits outside the admin role? If so, you won't need to change any roles at all. Let me know and I'll take you through it step by step. Thanks, Kate
- Public reply · Kate Ormerod 7 Oct 2026 14:55Hi Tariq, did that work for you? If the member services group still can't see the view, tell me which person it is and what they see on screen, and I'll pick it up from there. A screenshot of the message is enough, there's no need to send any member details. Thanks, Kate
