As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Kirsty Hepworth reported the schools page took well over a minute to list members once a renewal month filter was set. Bethan Lister reproduced it, and Arjun Nair was asked to check the query logs.
Problem: With a renewal month filter set, the schools page took well over a minute to list members, while the unfiltered view was fine. Kirsty had tried logging out and clearing her browser cache with no change.
Handling: Bethan reproduced the slow filtered load and asked Arjun to check the query logs, with the cause not yet clear. The ticket was solved on 27 Dec 2024 and closed on 31 Dec 2024.
Watch: The record does not show the query log findings or a fix.

When I filter by renewal month, it can take a long time before anything appears, and sometimes the page times out and I have to start again. The unfiltered view works fine. I've tried logging out and back in and clearing my browser cache, but it hasn't made any difference. Is this something on our side, or is B-Viz running slowly at the moment? Just so I've got this right, the slowdown is only on the schools page, and only when a renewal month filter is set? Could you try that and tell me what you see? - Public reply · Kirsty Hepworth 3 Dec 2024 13:54Hi Bethan, it's still slow this morning, maybe a bit quicker at lunchtime. It's the filtered view that's the problem, the rest of the page loads fine. I can't give you an exact time I'm afraid, but it's usually well over a minute before the list appears. Kirsty
