As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Declan Hession, CFO, questioned a £125k renewal figure against the £50k he pays today. Elena Novak replied that Growth at £50k is on the executed order form and the £125k is an Enterprise draft deal.
Ask: Declan saw £125k against the renewal and asked what the annual cost is and whether it matches the contract. He wants the gap explained before anyone talks to quality or the board.
Customer view: He is cautious and price-focused, not hostile. The CRM figure on the renewal record caused confusion that BG-Demo created.
Next: Matteo Ricci is to send written renewal options, including staying on Growth, with the annual cost of each. Elena is preparing a usage review to go alongside. The term runs to 28 Dec 2026, with a target of 7 Dec 2026 for agreeing the renewal. The thread shows no reply from Declan after 5 Oct 2026.

- Elena Novak 29 Sep 2026 16:48Dear Declan, I am writing as your Customer Success Manager to give you notice that the Menlo Quay Medical subscription is coming up for renewal. The current term runs to 28 Dec 2026, and I have copied Matteo Ricci, who looks after the commercial side of your account. To confirm where things stand: 1. Menlo Quay is on the Growth tier, with 40 licensed users, and the contracted annual recurring revenue is £50,000. 2. We have an open renewal record, with a target of 7 Dec 2026 for agreeing it. 3. I would like to walk you and Orla through how B-Viz has been used this year before any decision is made. I will make sure that Matteo sends you the renewal terms in writing. Please tell me what you would find useful to see beforehand. Kind regards, Elena
- Declan Hession 1 Oct 2026 09:12Elena, Thanks. I can see a figure of £125,000 against the renewal on your side. What's the annual cost? Does that match the contract? We are paying £50,000 today, so I'd want to understand the difference before anyone talks to quality or the board. Send it over and I'll look. Declan Hession
- Elena Novak 5 Oct 2026 17:01Dear Declan, Thank you for your question, and apologies for the confusion. To clarify: 1. Your current contract is Growth at £50,000 a year, and that is the figure on the executed order form. 2. The £125,000 on our renewal record is the total value of a deal drafted for the Enterprise tier. It is not an agreed price, and it should not be read as an annual cost for what you have today. 3. Matteo will set out in writing the renewal options, including staying on Growth, with the annual cost for each, so you can check them against the contract. Matteo, could you send these to Declan as agreed? I will make sure that the usage review is ready alongside it. Kind regards, Elena
