What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Tom Ashdown sent the Growth proposal at a total of £54k, covering implementation and the first term. Vincent Ackerley asks whether it is in budget and requires the yearly figure in writing before going further.
Ask: Vincent asked if £54k fits a first-year budget and what waiting a quarter would cost. He said "Let's not rush this."
Customer view: The finance lead is cautious and needs the annual figure in writing. Tom said £54k is not annual and he would not quote the yearly amount from memory.
Next: Tom must send the yearly figure in writing. The deal stays open until Vincent has it.

- Tom Ashdown 14 Mar 2024 10:56Hi both, Following our call, here is the proposal for the Growth tier. The total deal value is £53,800, which includes the one-off implementation fee as well as the first subscription term. I'll confirm the exact split on the order form, so please treat the breakdown as provisional until then. The aim is for Holly's team to read tickets, renewals and usage per provider in one place, running inside your own Snowflake account. We're pencilling in 22 Apr 2024 as a target to have it signed, but that's a guide rather than a deadline. Vincent, if there is anything on cost you'd like me to explain, just ask. Best, Tom
- Vincent Ackerley 15 Mar 2024 10:27Tom, Thank you. Is the £53,800 within what we discussed as a first-year cost? Is it in the budget is what I need to be sure of before going further, and I would like to understand what we would lose if we waited a quarter. Let's not rush this. Vincent Ackerley
- Tom Ashdown 18 Mar 2024 17:09Hi Vincent, Holly, Sorry for the slow reply, it's been a busy start to the week. On your first question: £53,800 is the total for the deal, so it covers implementation and the subscription together. It is not an annual figure, and I won't quote the yearly amount from memory. I'll confirm it in writing so you have it cleanly for the budget. On waiting, nothing is lost by taking your time. The main cost is that Holly's team carries on reconciling things by hand in the meantime. Happy to talk it through whenever suits. Best, Tom
- Vincent Ackerley 18 Mar 2024 17:59Tom, Understood, and thank you for being clear. Please send the yearly figure in writing when you have it. I will need it before I can take this further. Vincent Ackerley
