What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Terry Hinchcliffe replied to the Starter renewal approach asking what renewing as is would cost, whether it is still £20k, and whether they could do it themselves. He said only a handful use it and he would think about it.
Ask: Daniel proposed a short call on the Starter renewal due 30 Jul 2025 and raised whether licences match actual use.
Customer view: Terry questioned price and value, and raised a do-it-yourself alternative. He accepted a call on Tuesday or Wednesday morning, not Thursday.
Next: Daniel needs a value case and a right-sized offer before the call.

- Daniel Okafor 19 Jun 2025 08:42Hello Terry, I hope the week is going well in Doncaster. Just a short note to get a conversation in the diary about your Starter renewal, which is due on 30 Jul 2025. The current subscription is £19,500 a year, with 15 licensed users. Before we talk numbers I'd like to hear how the team is finding it, and whether the licences match how many of you actually use B-Viz now. I'd rather we got the shape right than simply rolled it over. Could you manage twenty minutes by phone one morning next week? Tell me which day suits and I'll work around you. If it's easier, Lynn could join as well. Best wishes, Daniel
- Terry Hinchcliffe 19 Jun 2025 10:29Daniel, What's it costing us if we renew as is? Same £19,500? We've only a handful using it these days. Could we do it ourselves with what we've got? I'll think about it. Tuesday or Wednesday morning is fine for a call. Not Thursday. Terry
