As at Fri 9 Oct 2026After the demo, Lorraine Coombes confirms the one-page retail view would save her chasing and names the incident log and accounting system as first connections. She asks to see only her own clients. Lewis Kerr targets a 22 May 2025 close.
Ask: Lorraine wants sites, incidents and invoices on one page before client calls, restricted to her own retail clients. Lewis quotes £52k plus VAT as the total deal value including implementation, not an annual price.
Customer view: Lorraine is positive: it was "close to how I actually work". The alarm monitoring system is still unknown and Sharon has not yet answered.
Next: Anya Petrova confirms how scoping by account manager works. Lewis sends the proposal within about a week and notes Nigel will review the numbers.

- Lewis Kerr 3 Apr 2025 17:49Sharon, Lorraine, Thank you both for your time today. It was useful to see the demo run on a sample of your own data rather than slides. To put a number on what we discussed: the Growth tier would cover the account managers, the control room and credit control together, which is the combination you said mattered most. For reference, the figure currently on the deal is £51,600 plus VAT. That is the total value of the deal and includes the one-off implementation, so it is not an annual price. I will set out the split properly in the proposal rather than leave you to work it out. Two things I noted from the session: - Lorraine asked whether a retail client's sites, incidents and recent invoices could sit on one page for an account manager before a client call. - Sharon asked what a client would hear from you first when an incident is logged overnight, and whether the control room log could feed that view. Anya has copied in and will pick up the data questions. If either of you can send me the systems you would want connected first, that will help us scope the proposal sensibly. I'll send that over today if there is anything else you want covered in it. Otherwise I will come back to you next week. Kind regards, Lewis
- Lorraine Coombes 4 Apr 2025 12:16Hi Lewis, Thanks for the summary, and for the demo yesterday. It was good to see something close to how I actually work. You have the retail question right. My clients are mostly shops and small chains with several sites each, so before a call I currently have to ask the control room for incidents and then ask credit control whether anything is overdue. If that is one page, it saves me a fair amount of chasing. For the first systems, I would say the control room incident log and the accounting system. Sharon will know better than me what the alarm monitoring side runs on, so I will leave that to her. One question I did not get to ask: can I limit what I see to my own retail clients? I would not want to wade through the whole book, and some of my colleagues would probably prefer not to see each other's accounts anyway. Cheers, Lorraine On 3 Apr 2025, at 17:49, Lewis Kerr wrote: > Two things I noted from the session: > - Lorraine asked whether a retail client's sites, incidents and recent invoices could sit on one page for an account manager before a client call.
- Lewis Kerr 7 Apr 2025 08:49Lorraine, Sharon, Thanks, Lorraine. That is helpful, and I have taken the incident log and the accounting system as the first two connections for the proposal. On seeing only your own clients: Anya will confirm the detail, but in principle the view can be scoped by account manager, so you would see your retail clients and not the whole book. She will write back with how that is set up in practice so I am not quoting it from memory. Sharon, could you let me know which system the alarm monitoring side runs on? It does not need to be today. If it is one we can connect, I will include it; if not, I will say so plainly in the proposal and we can talk about options. I am working towards a close on 22 May 2025 as a target, which would leave time for Nigel to review the numbers before anything is decided. I will send the proposal within the next week or so and suggest a time to walk through it. Kind regards, Lewis
