What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Marcus Bell sends the formal notice: Starter on the current list price plus ten users, a renewal deal of £26k. Femi Adeyemi has no objection in principle but asks if the extra users can be reviewed and wants the referral arrangement written in.
Ask: Femi asks whether the extra block is firm or reviewable if the team does not fill it. He also wants the referral arrangement carried over unchanged and confirmed in the agreement.
Customer view: he calls the increase understandable and the extra users sensible. He does not want to pay for unused headroom.
Next: Marcus passed both points to Sophie Ling and will send a usage view of the 25 seats. Sophie is aiming for a signed order form by 14 Aug 2026; the evidence does not show her reply.

- Marcus Bell 29 May 2026 16:18Hi Femi, Further to our earlier exchange, this is the formal renewal notice for Mossbrook Data Partners. - Current term: Starter, 25 users, £23,500 a year, ending 28 Aug 2026. - Renewal: Starter on the current list price, with one additional block of ten users. The renewal deal is £26,000. - Sophie has the renewal open and is aiming to have the order form signed by 14 Aug 2026, well ahead of the term end. The change in price is because the renewal is the point where earlier-signed customers move to the current price book. Any first-term discount does not carry over, and Sophie can take you through how that applies to you. Please read the order form when it arrives and tell us what you'd like changed. Happy to jump on a call if it is easier to talk it through. Thanks, Marcus
- Femi Adeyemi 3 Jun 2026 13:58Marcus, Thank you, that is clear, and I appreciate the notice being this early. I have no objection in principle. The increase is understandable and the extra users make sense, as we are bringing more consultants onto it. Two things I would like to understand before I sign anything: - Is the extra block of users a firm part of the renewal, or can we review it at a check-in if the team does not fill it? I would rather not pay for headroom we do not use. - Our referral arrangement sits alongside the subscription. I want it to carry over unchanged, and I'd like that confirmed in the agreement rather than assumed. What's in it for our clients is the test for us, and I don't want that muddied by the paperwork. I know price is Sophie's area, so I'll take that up with her. But the second point I'd like you to be aware of as well. Femi
- Marcus Bell 3 Jun 2026 16:55Hi Femi, Thanks for the quick reply, and for being direct about it. On the user block: I've asked Sophie to answer this properly, since it is a commercial term. She is copied, so she can pick it up with you directly. From my side, I can pull a usage view before the order form is finalised so you can see how many of the 25 seats are in regular use and decide with real numbers. On the referral arrangement: you're right that it should be written down. I've flagged it to Sophie so the renewal paperwork refers to it clearly and you can check it before 14 Aug 2026. I can't speak to the terms myself, so I'd rather she confirmed than I guessed. I'll send the usage view later this week. Thanks, Marcus
