What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Femi Adeyemi agreed to act as sponsor but wants specific expectations in the agreement: what is in it for the client and how success is measured. He wants sponsor and delivery roles kept separate. Sofia Marchetti set Wednesday 14:00.
Ask: Sofia wants a named senior contact on each side, written down. Femi accepts, subject to specifics.
Customer view: His two questions, what is in it for the client and how both sides know it is working, show he wants a value case before his name is attached. He has also spoken with Joanna about keeping delivery separate.
Next: Sofia to send her short list, hold the Wednesday call and write up the same day.

- Sofia Marchetti 2 Oct 2025 11:17Hi Femi, I wanted to pick up something from our last conversation. Now that Mossbrook is up and running on Starter, I would like us to agree who on your side acts as the senior point of contact for the partnership, and who on ours. At the moment it is a bit informal, and I would rather we wrote it down than left it to chance. Could we find half an hour next week? I think it is worth doing by call rather than going back and forth by email. I can do Tuesday or Wednesday afternoon, and I am happy to work around your diary. There is no need to prepare anything. I will bring a short list of what I think each side should own, and you can tell me where I have got it wrong. Best regards, Sofia Marchetti Head of Customer Success, BG-Demo
- Femi Adeyemi 3 Oct 2025 14:04Sofia, Thanks for this. Yes, I agree it is worth tidying up. Tuesday is difficult for me, I am with clients most of the day, but Wednesday afternoon should work. One thing so you know where I am coming from. I will happily act as the sponsor on our side, but I want to be clear about what that means in practice. What's in it for the client? And how do we both know it's working? If we are going to put my name against something, I would like the expectations to be specific, and I would like them in the agreement rather than in my head or yours. I have also been talking with Joanna about how the day to day delivery side fits around this, so it may be useful to keep the sponsor role separate from who runs the hands-on work. I do not want to blur the two. If you can send your short list beforehand, I will read it properly before we speak. Femi
- Sofia Marchetti 6 Oct 2025 13:05Hi Femi, Thank you, that is helpful, and I think the separation you describe is right. Let's be clear about what each role covers, so nobody is guessing later. Let's make it this Wednesday at 14:00. I will send a calendar invite after this email. I have attached nothing yet, but here is the short list I will bring: - what the sponsor on each side is responsible for - how often we review how the partnership is going, and what we look at - who owns the day to day delivery, and who to ask when something is stuck - how we record all of it, so it can go into the agreement Your two questions will be the first items on the agenda. Here is what we will do afterwards: I will write up what we agreed and send it to you the same day, so you can read it before anything is signed. Speak soon.
