What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Lewis Kerr asked Neil Craven for a discovery call. On 9 Dec 2024 Neil agreed to an hour on a Tuesday at 10:00 and said he would ask the Group Finance Director to join for the credit side.
Ask: Lewis wanted an hour with Neil and someone from credit, to understand how branch, trade-credit and key-account teams view a single trade account.
Customer view: Neil accepted but wants no sales pitch. He asked for the call to stick to current practice with trade accounts and where it goes wrong.
Next: Lewis to send the invitation for Tuesday at 10:00. Whether Fiona Metcalfe attends is not shown.

- Lewis Kerr 9 Dec 2024 14:51Hello Neil, Thank you for taking the time to talk earlier. As agreed, I'd like to book a discovery call so we can understand how your branch, trade-credit and key-account teams currently look at a single trade account, and what you would want to see in one place. To keep it useful, it would help to have someone from the credit side on the call, as well as yourself. Could you let me know whether next week suits, and roughly how long you can give us? I'd suggest an hour, and I'm happy to work around your diary. I'll send a calendar invitation as soon as you tell me which slot works. Kind regards, Lewis Lewis Kerr Account Executive, BG-Demo
- Neil Craven 9 Dec 2024 16:30Lewis, Thanks for this. Next week is fine, but it's the run up to Christmas and the branches are flat out, so mornings are best. Tuesday or Wednesday before lunch would do me. An hour is OK. I'll ask Fiona Metcalfe, our Group Finance Director, whether she can join for the credit side. She won't want to sit through a sales pitch, so keep it to what we actually do with trade accounts today and where it goes wrong. What's the builder actually seeing, that sort of thing. Send the invite for Tuesday at 10:00 and I'll move things if I have to. Cheers, Neil
