What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Marcus sends Rebecca Ainsworth notes on the check-in: usage is up across more teams, with no tickets in the last month. Rebecca is pleased, asks for a short claims-team session and insists Malcolm is involved in the renewal from the start.
Customer view: Rebecca gave a concrete example of value: a relationship manager walked into a renewal already knowing a claim and a call. "Let's not make them tell us twice."
Ask: She wants a short session showing the claims team how to find a member's history, and will send names for the few people still to be set up. She asked again whether the usage picture is complete.
Renewal: She cannot agree anything without Malcolm. Marcus will stay on adoption while Tom takes the commercial side.

What I took from the call: - Usage is up on last quarter, and it's coming from more than just your team. Underwriting and claims are asking questions as well, which is what you hoped for when you brought B-Viz in. - Relationship managers are opening a member's policies, claims and calls together before renewal meetings, rather than piecing it together from three systems. - No tickets with us in the last month, and nothing outstanding on the invoice side. - You'd like to see more of the claims team using it. Happy to jump on a call with them if that helps. One thing for you to think about: you have 80 licensed users, and your current term runs to 16 Jan 2026. It's worth us talking about the renewal in good time, so nothing is rushed. Tom will pick up the commercial side, and I'll stay on adoption and the usage picture. Is there anyone in member services who isn't yet set up and should be? Send me names and I'll sort it. Thanks, Marcus
- Rebecca Ainsworth 21 Oct 2025 08:55Hello Marcus, Thank you, this is a helpful summary. One of the relationship managers told me last week that she walked into a school's renewal already knowing about a claim and a call from the spring. The member noticed. That's what we want: let's not make them tell us twice. I'd welcome a session with the claims team. Could you do something short, showing them how to find a member's history rather than a general tour? I'll check with their lead on a good slot and come back to you. On the renewal, I'm glad we're talking early, but I can't agree anything without Malcolm, so please include him from the start. I'll let him know to expect a note from you or Tom. I'll send names for the few people still to be set up by the end of the week. Is that the whole picture on usage, or is there anything you're seeing that I should know about? Kind regards, Rebecca
