What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Tom Ashdown sent the Growth order form for signature. Malcolm Hebden, the CFO, asked what it commits Kelbrook to and said the board must see a multi-year deal first. No signature or board date is shown.
Ask: Malcolm Hebden asked whether the £124k figure can change during the two-year term and whether any charges sit outside the order form.
Customer view: He will not sign a multi-year commitment before the board has seen it, and he flagged this early. Tom answered on 3 Jan 2024 that the term is two years with no other charges.
Next: Tom needs the next board date to keep implementation planning ready. The evidence does not show a signature or a board date.

- Tom Ashdown 29 Dec 2023 14:30Hello Malcolm, I hope you've had a decent Christmas. As promised, the order form for Growth is attached, together with the written breakdown Philip asked for. The deal total is £123,600 across the two-year term, and the breakdown shows how that is made up so you can see the base for each part. If you're content, it needs your signature as Chief Financial Officer. Once it's back with us, we can start planning the implementation with Rebecca's team and Marcus Bell, who will be your customer success manager. If anything in it doesn't match what we discussed, tell me and I'll sort it straight away. Wednesday 3 January 2024 is the date we have pencilled in, but I'd rather it was right than quick. Best, Tom
- Malcolm Hebden 29 Dec 2023 15:54Dear Tom, Thank you, and the same to you. I have read the order form and the breakdown, and it is clearer than the earlier summary. Before I say anything more, may I ask what this commits us to, and for how long? I read the term as two years, with the price stated for the full term. Please confirm that nothing in it changes the figure of £123,600 during that period, and that there are no charges outside the order form that I have not been shown. As you will appreciate, I do not sign a multi-year commitment without the board having seen it. I have asked for it to be put on the agenda for the next meeting and will tell you the outcome as soon as I have it. I would rather you heard that from me now than assumed it was settled. This is members' money, not ours, so I would like to be certain of every line. Malcolm Hebden
- Tom Ashdown 3 Jan 2024 16:48Hello Malcolm, Happy New Year. I'm picking this up now we're all back. To answer your question from last week: the order form is for a two-year term and the figure in it is the deal total of £123,600. I've checked with Owen and there are no charges outside the order form for what we've described. Anything extra later, such as more users or connectors, would be agreed with you in writing first, never added quietly. I know today was the date we'd pencilled in, but I understand the board needs to see this first, so please don't feel rushed on my account. What would help is a date for when the board next meets, so I can keep the implementation planning ready and let Marcus know. If it helps, I'm happy to join a short call before then to answer any questions from your directors, or to send a one-page summary for the board papers. Just say which you'd prefer. Cheers, Tom
