What it says
What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Draft proposal v1 dated 9 Jul 2026 from Tom Ashdown for the Enterprise tier, issued into a public tender. Annual subscription £125k; total deal value £155k including one-off implementation. Not an order form and binds no one.
What it is: a draft proposal by Tom Ashdown, Account Executive, stating it "is not an order form and creates no commitment on either side". It proposes the Enterprise tier for account management, the enquiries line and the grants team.
Commits: nothing binding. Pricing is stated as "Enterprise subscription | Annual | £125k" and a total of £155k that "is not an annual price". Payment terms are 30 days, annual in advance, with quarterly invoicing on request. Nightly refresh is described as complete by 07:00 customer local time on business days.
Unusual: no discount is proposed. The draft is written for a public tender, so tender rules may govern how terms are submitted.
Not settled: connectors, user numbers, implementation dates, security requirements, invoicing frequency and the tender timetable are all open. The evidence does not show whether a cleaned version was shared, or the tender outcome. Availability and P1 response figures are not stated, only referred to as the Enterprise commitments.

Body
Kielderside Growth Agency - Proposal v1
Status: Draft. Prepared by Tom Ashdown, Account Executive, BG-Demo. Dated Thursday 9 July 2026. This draft is for internal review and for discussion with the Agency as part of its tender evaluation. It is not an order form and creates no commitment on either side.
1. Context
Kielderside Growth Agency is a business-support and inward-investment agency owned by six North East councils. From Newcastle upon Tyne, the Agency account-manages thousands of growing businesses and runs grant programmes on behalf of its owners.
The Agency is evaluating B-Viz, our Enterprise tier, through a public tender. As we understand it, the aim is simple to state and harder to deliver: account managers, the enquiries line and the grants team should each see the same business in one view, without anyone reconciling systems by hand before a conversation.
We have not seen the Agency's systems in detail yet. Where this draft makes assumptions, they are listed in section 8 so that the Agency can correct us.
2. What the Agency is trying to achieve
Read the whole document (7,903 characters)
- One view of each business, covering who has spoken to it, what has been discussed and what support or funding it has received.
- Account managers who can prepare for a conversation by asking a question rather than opening several systems.
- An enquiries line that can see the history of a caller straight away.
- A grants team that can see the wider relationship with a business, not only the grant file.
- Data that stays under the Agency's control, which matters for a body owned by six councils.
3. What B-Viz is
B-Viz is one AI-queryable layer over a customer's CRM, calls, emails, tickets, product usage, finance and HR data. It is built and run inside the customer's own Snowflake account. The Agency's data therefore stays in the Agency's environment rather than being copied to a separate platform that we operate.
Users ask questions in plain English through pages, chat and search. The answers draw on every connected source, so a question about one business returns what the account manager, the enquiries line and the grants team each know.
4. Proposed scope: Enterprise tier
We propose the Enterprise tier, which is designed for company-wide and regulated buyers. It fits an organisation where three different groups need to work from the same picture.
| Area | What is included |
|---|---|
| Coverage | Company-wide use across account management, the enquiries line and the grants team |
| Users | The Enterprise user allowance, with room for additional users as add-ons if needed |
| Connectors | The Enterprise connector allowance, covering the CRM, email, call and enquiries sources the Agency uses |
| Features | Pages, chat and search, the dashboards builder, quarterly business reviews |
| Identity | Single sign-on and SCIM provisioning |
| Sponsorship | An executive sponsor at BG-Demo |
| Security | Security review support during implementation |
| Service levels | The Enterprise availability commitment and Enterprise first response times for priority incidents |
| Data freshness | Nightly refresh complete by 07:00 customer local time on business days |
The Enterprise tier is also the only tier where service credits apply to data freshness as well as availability. For a team that opens the system each morning expecting current records, we think that matters.
Connectors
The connectors to be included will be confirmed once we have seen the Agency's systems. Any connector named in the order form will carry a commitment to be live within an agreed number of days. We will agree that number with the Agency before anything is signed, rather than promise it here.
5. Implementation
Implementation is a one-off, fixed-fee engagement. For Enterprise it includes support for the Agency's security review, which we expect to be a significant part of the tender process.
We would work in these phases:
- Discovery and access. Confirm the systems in scope, the owners of each, and the Snowflake environment that B-Viz will run in.
- Connection and loading. Bring the agreed sources into the Agency's Snowflake account and check that records for a sample of businesses match what teams expect.
- Security review support. Provide the documentation and answers the Agency's information governance function needs.
- Team onboarding. Train account managers, the enquiries line and the grants team separately, since they will ask different questions.
- Go-live and first review. Confirm nightly refresh is working and agree what success looks like for the first quarterly review.
The implementation timetable for Enterprise is set out in our standard offering. We will confirm dates with the Agency once the tender outcome is known, and do not state them in this draft.
6. Pricing
All prices are in pounds sterling. The subscription is annual and invoiced in advance, with quarterly invoicing available on request. Payment terms are 30 days.
| Item | Basis | Amount |
|---|---|---|
| Enterprise subscription | Annual | £125k |
| Implementation | One-off, fixed fee | Included in the total below |
| Total deal value | Subscription for the first year plus the one-off implementation fee | £155k |
To be clear about what the figures mean: the annual subscription is £125k. The total deal value of £155k is larger because it includes the one-off implementation fee. It is not an annual price, and the Agency should not expect to pay it each year.
No discount is proposed in this draft. Any discount would apply to the first term only.
Optional add-ons
These are not in the total above. We can price them if the Agency wants them:
- Additional users and additional connectors.
- Premium support with a named engineer.
- A Sandbox environment.
- Dedicated UK data residency, if the Agency's owners require it.
- An on-site training day.
7. Commercial and contractual route
If the Agency selects B-Viz, we would expect to issue an order form under our MSA. The order form is the document that fixes price, term, connectors and service levels. Until one is executed, this proposal is a draft and nothing in it is binding.
We understand that a public tender has its own rules on how terms are submitted and evaluated. We will follow the Agency's process and would welcome guidance on where this proposal should sit within it.
8. Assumptions and open points
- We have assumed the Agency's three groups use more than one system today, and that at least some of them are among those we connect to. This needs confirming.
- We have not yet seen the source systems, so connector scope is open.
- The Agency's security and information governance requirements are not yet known to us.
- The number of users who will need access, across all three groups, is to be confirmed.
- Whether the Agency wants quarterly invoicing rather than annual is open.
- Tender timetable and decision date are not known to us.
