What it says
What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026A final QBR deck by Marcus Bell for a Starter customer. It reports about three active users of 15 licensed, one routine ticket, no overdue invoices, and a term ending 28 Aug 2026. It carries no service-level or price commitments.
What it is: a customer success review dated 6 April 2026, prepared by Marcus Bell. It says "the team using B-Viz day to day is small, and it is growing" and notes "Contracted annual recurring revenue | £20k" in the contract table.
Commits: it binds no one. It only restates that the nightly refresh "completes by 07:00 customer local time on business days" and lists internal actions for Marcus Bell and Sophie Ling.
Unusual: the deck states its own limits: "We have no measured time saving or cost saving to quote for Mossbrook." The £20k matches the v1 Starter list, but the deck is not the contract.
Not settled: the renewal price and terms. The deck says they come from the order form and executed contract, "not from this deck". It also does not show whether the term ending 28 Aug 2026 was renewed, and it cannot, as it predates that date. The wording names Sophie Ling as account owner, and the evidence does not show her current employment status.

Where we are
Mossbrook Data Partners is a Snowflake-specialist data consultancy based in Manchester. It builds and runs data warehouses for around sixty mid-sized clients in the North West, and it uses B-Viz on its own client base. It joined BG-Demo on 29 Aug 2025 and was our first implementation and referral partner, which still matters to us.

B-Viz runs inside Mossbrook's own Snowflake account, so the data stays within an environment the team already knows well.
Usage and adoption
Headline: the team using B-Viz day to day is small, and it is growing.
- Over the last thirty days, an average of about three people were active in B-Viz.
- That is up on the previous quarter. The direction is right, even though the level is modest.
- Mossbrook holds 15 licensed users, so there is plenty of headroom. Most of the licences are not yet in regular use.
How I read this
A small group of regular users is typical for a consultancy that uses the product for specific client work rather than as an everyday tool for the whole firm. The growth since last quarter is the encouraging part. What the numbers do not tell us is which client engagements the active users are working on, or whether other consultants would use B-Viz if they were shown how. That is a question for the conversation, not something I can answer from the usage data.
Questions to explore together
- Who are the three regular users, and what do they ask B-Viz most often?
- Are there consultants on client-facing projects who have a licence but have not yet logged in?
- Is there a client engagement where B-Viz could save the team time on reconciling sources by hand?
Support and service
A quiet quarter, which is what we want to see.
| Measure | Last thirty days |
|---|---|
| Support tickets raised | One |
| High priority tickets | None |
| Overdue invoices | None |
- The single ticket was routine and did not need escalation.
- Nothing is outstanding on the finance side. Invoices have been paid on time.
- The nightly refresh is part of every tier and completes by 07:00 customer local time on business days. No service concerns have been raised with us.
Few tickets can sometimes be silence before a customer drifts away. Here I read it differently: usage is rising, the contact is regular, and Mossbrook is a partner that talks to us when it needs something.
Value delivered
What we can say, based on what we hold:
- Mossbrook has run B-Viz on its Starter subscription since it joined, with no service or payment issues.
- Active use is increasing quarter on quarter.
- Mossbrook is a Snowflake specialist, so B-Viz sitting inside its Snowflake account suits the way the team already works.
What we cannot say from the records:
- We have no measured time saving or cost saving to quote for Mossbrook. Rather than guess, I'd like to agree a simple way to capture one, for example a before-and-after on a recurring piece of client reporting.
- We have not recorded how many of Mossbrook's clients have benefited from B-Viz directly.
A short, honest value case will help the team when it thinks about the renewal, and it will help us to describe the partnership accurately.
The partnership
Mossbrook was the first partner to deliver BG-Demo implementations and to refer customers to us. That relationship is worth looking after in its own right, separately from the subscription.
Ideas to discuss:
- A regular catch-up on how the referral arrangement is working from Mossbrook's side.
- Whether Mossbrook would like a short session for its wider team on what B-Viz can already answer.
- Whether the on-site training day add-on would be useful for the consultants who have not yet used the product.
Any commercial discussion about add-ons sits with Sophie Ling as account owner.
Looking ahead to the renewal
The current term ends on 28 Aug 2026, so the renewal conversation is coming up.
- I will own the renewal notice and the adoption story. Sophie Ling will own the commercial terms, including pricing, and will come back to Mossbrook directly on that.
- The aim is a renewal that Mossbrook feels is justified by how the team uses B-Viz, so it helps if more of the 15 licensed users are active before then.
- Starter has a six-monthly check-in, so I will keep in touch in between and make sure nothing surprises anyone.
The order form and the executed contract are the source for terms, so any questions on what applies at renewal should be answered from those, not from this deck.
Actions and owners
| Action | Owner | Timing |
|---|---|---|
| Share a short usage summary by user, so Mossbrook can see who is active and who is not | Marcus Bell | Within the next couple of weeks |
| Offer a short walkthrough for consultants who have a licence but are not yet active | Marcus Bell | Agree timing at this review |
| Agree a simple way to capture time saved on one recurring client report | Marcus Bell with Mossbrook | Before the next check-in |
| Raise renewal terms and any add-on discussion | Sophie Ling | Ahead of the renewal notice |
| Keep the referral partnership on the agenda | Sophie Ling and Marcus Bell | Ongoing |
Summary
- A healthy, on-time-paying account with no open concerns.
- Active use is small but rising.
- Plenty of licensed headroom to grow into.
- A value case would strengthen the renewal, and we will build it together.
Thanks, Marcus
