What it says
What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026A final, version one success plan prepared by Marcus Bell on 5 Nov 2025 for the Starter term ending 28 Aug 2026. It states contracted ARR of £20k and 15 licensed users. It sets no service levels and is not a contract.
What it is: an internal BG-Demo success plan, prepared by Marcus Bell with Sophie Ling as account owner. It says Mossbrook is "BG-Demo's first implementation and referral partner" and sets goals, measures, owners and risks for the first term.
Commits: it binds no one commercially. Actions fall to Marcus (usage summary, six-monthly check-in, value case, renewal notice before 28 Aug 2026) and Sophie (referral talks, commercial terms). Mossbrook is only asked to name a lead and a backup.
Unusual: the table labels £20k as "Annual recurring revenue (contracted)", but the plan is not the order form and the figure should be checked against it. It also says Marcus will pass any price question to Sophie.
Not settled: it does not show how widely B-Viz is used, or whether use is concentrated in one or two people. It is dated before the term end, so renewal progress is not shown. Sophie's and Marcus's current employment is not shown here and should be checked against HR.

Body
Mossbrook Data Partners - Success Plan
Status: Final, version one Prepared: 5 Nov 2025 Prepared by: Marcus Bell, Customer Success Manager, BG-Demo Account owner: Sophie Ling
Purpose of this plan
This plan sets out how BG-Demo and Mossbrook Data Partners will make sure B-Viz keeps earning its place in the first term. It covers what Mossbrook is trying to achieve, how we will measure it, who does what, and what happens as the term approaches its end on 28 Aug 2026.
Mossbrook has been a customer since 29 Aug 2025 and is BG-Demo's first implementation and referral partner, so this account matters beyond its own subscription. We want it to be a good example of B-Viz working well in a consultancy setting.

Who Mossbrook is
Read the whole document (6,921 characters)
Mossbrook is a Snowflake-specialist data consultancy. It builds and runs data warehouses for around sixty mid-sized clients, mostly in the North West. Because B-Viz is built and run inside a customer's own Snowflake account, Mossbrook understands the architecture better than almost any other customer we have. It uses the Starter tier for its own client base: the people, accounts, calls and tickets behind its consulting work.
Where things stand
The first weeks of the term have gone well, and the numbers are moving the right way.
- Adoption: the average number of active users over the last month is still small against the licence, but it has grown very sharply compared with the previous quarter. The early group of users is clearly finding B-Viz useful and the numbers are heading up.
- Support: there have been no tickets in the last month and no high-priority tickets. That is a good sign this early, though with a small user group it also tells us little about how deeply people are using the product.
- Billing: no invoices are overdue.
- Relationship: Mossbrook is friendly, technically confident and open to being a reference for us.
We should be honest about what the evidence does not show yet. We do not have a view of how widely B-Viz is used across Mossbrook's whole team, or whether the usage is concentrated in one or two people. Part of this plan is to find that out.
Goals for the term
What Mossbrook wants
- Spend less time reconciling information held in separate systems when preparing for client work.
- Give consultants a quick way to ask questions about their own accounts, calls and tickets rather than searching by hand.
- Build a repeatable way of working that Mossbrook could eventually explain to its own clients.
What BG-Demo wants
- A healthy, well-used Starter account with a clear value story ready well before renewal.
- Mossbrook's agreement to act as a reference and to introduce suitable clients, handled in a way that suits them.
- An honest view of whether Mossbrook's growth means it will outgrow Starter.
Success measures
We will look at these together, by trajectory rather than by a single reading.
| Measure | What good looks like |
|---|---|
| Active users | Rising steadily towards the licensed number of 15, spread across several people |
| Questions asked | Growing month on month, with no single person asking most of them |
| Records indexed | Moving every week, so the nightly refresh is keeping B-Viz current |
| Connectors | All configured sources loading, and any new source added deliberately |
| Tickets | Few, answered inside the Starter service level, and mostly how-to rather than faults |
| Value statement | Mossbrook can say in its own words what B-Viz saves it |
Actions and owners
Early in the term
- Marcus Bell: pull the usage numbers and share them with Mossbrook in a short, plain summary, so everyone sees the same picture. Happy to jump on a call to walk through it.
- Marcus Bell: ask Mossbrook who the main users are and who else might benefit, so we can see how widely the product is used.
- Mossbrook: name an internal lead for B-Viz who will be our regular contact and a second person who can act as backup, so the account does not rely on one individual.
Through the middle of the term
- Marcus Bell: hold the Starter six-monthly check-in, review questions asked, records indexed and connector health, and agree any changes.
- Marcus Bell: capture two or three concrete examples of time saved, in Mossbrook's words, to form the basis of a value case.
- Sophie Ling: talk to Mossbrook about the referral relationship, including how introductions to its clients should work and what is comfortable for them.
- Mossbrook: tell us early if it connects a new system or changes an existing one, as that is the most common cause of a source that stops loading.
Ahead of renewal
- Marcus Bell: issue the renewal notice in good time before 28 Aug 2026 and open the renewal conversation with the value case already in hand.
- Sophie Ling: discuss commercial terms with Mossbrook. Marcus will pass any question on price to Sophie rather than deal with it himself.
- Marcus Bell and Sophie Ling: decide together whether the usage justifies a conversation about more users, more connectors or a higher tier.
Risks to watch
- Concentrated use. If a small number of people account for most of the questions, losing one of them would hurt. We will encourage wider use early.
- Quiet drift. Having no tickets is welcome, but it can also mean people have stopped looking. We will watch questions asked and records indexed rather than rely on silence.
- Changes on Mossbrook's side. A change of system or a change of contact could interrupt a connector or leave us without a champion. We will ask to be told in advance.
- Growth beyond Starter. If Mossbrook adds teams or sources, it may reach the user or connector limits. That is an opportunity, and we would rather raise it early than have it surface as a frustration.
How we will keep in touch
- A short usage note from Marcus after the first full quarter of the term.
- The Starter six-monthly check-in, with Mossbrook's lead and Marcus.
- Ad hoc calls whenever Mossbrook wants one. Marcus is easy to reach and is happy to book thirty minutes whenever it helps.
- A review of this plan at the check-in, with any changes agreed in writing.
Next steps
- Marcus to send Mossbrook the first usage summary and ask for the internal lead and backup contact.
- Sophie to open the conversation about the referral relationship.
- Both teams to look at this plan again at the six-monthly check-in.
Thanks, Marcus
