What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Alyssa Greenberg, Director of Customer Success, described a Monday spreadsheet routine joining tickets and usage. She agreed to a demo on her own data. Her CFO, Howard, must approve any real spend and wants a case.
What happened: Jordan opened a discovery call with Alyssa on 12 Mar 2026. She said her team exports tickets, pulls usage and pastes both into a spreadsheet, which takes most of the morning.
Customer view: Her tools do not talk to each other, and the CRM only knows about support issues if someone types them in. A yes means reading a ticket against usage in one place, on current data.
Commercial: Jordan floated a Starter tier for one team and said the deal is about £28k in total right now. That is a figure Jordan quoted on the call, not a proposal or an order form.
Watch: Anything that costs real money goes to Howard, who wants a case, not a demo. He is not yet on the demo, and the evidence does not show his view.

Follow-up
Next steps
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- Jordan sends demo times and books a demo on Assunpink data with the solutions engineer.
- Alyssa flags the timing to Howard and names a ticket lead for the demo.
- Jordan builds a value case for Howard before any proposal.
Risks
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- The CFO, Howard, controls spend and wants a case rather than a demo, and he is not yet involved.
- The Starter fit is unproven until Alyssa sees B-Viz working on her own data.
Opportunities
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- A new-business Starter engagement for the customer success team, with room to widen later.
- A clear pain point (ticket against usage on current data) that a demo on her own data can address directly.
Transcript
- Jordan PikeHi Alyssa, Jordan here. Thanks for making time at the end of your day. Quick agenda: I'd like to understand how your team works today, then I'll tell you what we do and whether it fits. We've got about thirty-five minutes, so are we good on time?
- Alyssa GreenbergWe're good. Thanks for the agenda, honestly most vendors skip that and just start pitching. I'm happy to talk about the team.
- Jordan PikeGreat. To be transparent, I'm the US sales guy for BG-Demo, so this is one of the first conversations I'm having over here. I'd rather learn from you than sell at you.
- Alyssa GreenbergOkay. Well, we're a tenant-experience platform for commercial landlords. My team handles the tickets, the account reviews, all of it.
- Jordan PikeRight, and how big is the customer success team?
- Alyssa GreenbergIt's a small team. Three people in tickets and a couple of account managers who do the reviews. We're growing, which is partly why I'm here.
- Jordan PikeOkay. What does a normal week look like for the team? Walk me through it.
- Alyssa GreenbergMm. Honestly? Monday we pull the ticket export, then we pull usage from the product, then we paste both into a spreadsheet and try to figure out which customers are going quiet.
- Jordan PikeHow long does that take?
- Alyssa GreenbergMost of the morning, if I'm honest. And by the time we've done it, the data's already a few days old.
- Jordan PikeHere's where we are. That's the exact problem we solve. Can I ask what the tools are today?
- Alyssa GreenbergWe have a helpdesk, the CRM, the product analytics, and a call recorder that nobody really uses. They don't talk to each other.
- Jordan PikeSo you're doing the joining by hand. Does the CRM know which customers have a support issue?
- Alyssa GreenbergOnly if someone types it in. Which, you know, not always.
- Jordan PikeOkay. And who owns the decision to change anything here? Is that you, or is there a finance or IT person involved?
- Alyssa GreenbergIt's me for the team, but anything that costs real money goes to our CFO, Howard. He wants to see a case, not a demo.
- Jordan PikeGot it. That's useful to know early. What would make this a yes for you?
- Alyssa GreenbergHonestly? Being able to read a ticket against the customer's usage in one place, without me doing it on a Monday morning. And the data being current.
- Jordan PikeThose are both things we do well. We're thinking about a Starter tier to start with, one team, and then we'd see how it goes. Does that sound like the right size?
- Alyssa GreenbergHmm. It might be. I'd want to see it working on our own data before I say that.
- Jordan PikeFair. That's exactly what I'd want. So the next step is a demo on your data, with our solutions engineer, and I'll put the proposed deal together for after that. The deal's about £28k in total right now, which we can refine.
- Alyssa GreenbergOkay. Yes, let's do the demo. Can we aim for end of the month?
- Jordan PikeAbsolutely. I'll send a few times today. And I'd like to get to a decision by the twenty-second of May, so we're not drifting.
- Alyssa GreenbergThat sounds reasonable. I'll flag it to Howard as well, so he's not surprised by the timing.
- Jordan PikeThat would be great. Who else should be on the demo?
- Alyssa GreenbergProbably one of my ticket leads. Maybe not Howard yet. I'll let you know.
- Jordan PikeSounds good. I'll send the invite once I've got the times. Thanks Alyssa, this was really helpful.
- Alyssa GreenbergThanks Jordan. Speak soon.
