What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Donna Wragg wants a simple way for consultants to use B-Viz and proof it saves time. Usage is about four active users a day, slightly down. Daniel will build a client example and run a session for new joiners.
What happened: Daniel Okafor showed the quarter. Fifteen licensed users on Starter, connectors loading, nightly refresh on time, one resolved ticket, and about four active users a day, a little under a tenth lower.
Customer view: Donna said the consultants' grumble is about remembering to log in, not the tool. They prefer pages to typing questions, and she wants to say it saves ten minutes before a client call.
Commercial: Nell Ashcombe said the end of July renewal should rest on real usefulness. Donna will be honest with Terry, who is asking what it costs.
Watch: Value is still unproven for the wider consultant team. Jodie Burkinshaw expects starters soon, so seat handling and onboarding matter.

Follow-up
Next steps
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- Daniel to book a short session for new joiners with Donna and Jodie within a couple of weeks.
- Daniel to build the warehouse client example with Donna and give it to Jodie to circulate.
- Daniel to answer Jodie on freeing seats and saved items by the end of the week.
Risks
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- Active use is about four of fifteen users and drifting down slightly.
- Consultants forget to log in, and Donna will not force a tool that slows them down.
- Terry is focused on cost, so the renewal needs a clear value case.
Opportunities
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- A warehouse client example built on their own data could show consultants the time saved.
- Newly arriving starters give a chance to onboard more users onto pages.
Transcript
- Daniel OkaforHello, good afternoon. Thank you so much for making the time. Let me see who has joined. Donna, I can see you, and Jodie, and Nell is here with me.
- Donna WraggHiya. Sorry, just finished a call with a client who wanted forty drivers by Friday. Ha. Anyway, I'm here.
- Jodie BurkinshawAfternoon. Can you hear me okay? My headset's been playing up.
- Daniel OkaforLoud and clear, Jodie. Thank you. How's the week been?
- Jodie BurkinshawBusy. Quiet on the system side though, which is how I like it.
- Nell AshcombeAfternoon, both. Good to see you. Donna, I'll ask you what I always ask. What do you need to leave this call with?
- Donna WraggWell, the consultants have been grumbling a bit. Not about the tool. About having to remember to log in. Half of them live in the CRM and the phone, so if it isn't in front of them they forget it. So, something to keep it simple for them.
- Nell AshcombeThat's useful, and I'd rather start there than with a slide. Daniel, why don't you show us where things stand and we'll come back to that.
- Daniel OkaforOf course. Let me share my screen. Bear with me one moment.
- Daniel OkaforThere we are. So this is your quarter at a glance. You're on Starter, with fifteen licensed users and your connectors all loading. On average, about four people have been active on a typical day this past month. That's a touch lower than the quarter before, a little under a tenth, so a gentle drift down.
- Donna WraggFour. Yeah. That sounds about right. It's me, a couple of the senior consultants, and Jodie poking about.
- Jodie BurkinshawI'm mostly in there checking things are fine. I don't count as a proper user, really.
- Daniel OkaforYou count in the figures, Jodie, though I take your point. Just to close the loop on the connectors, nothing's broken and records are still being indexed each night. The nightly refresh has been landing on time, so what people see in the morning is current.
- Jodie BurkinshawYes, I check that first thing most days. It's been fine. I did raise the one ticket last month.
- Daniel OkaforThat's right, one ticket, nothing urgent, and it was picked up and resolved. If there'd been anything high priority I'd be telling you about it.
- Donna WraggOkay, but which client is that about? Was it something one of the consultants hit?
- Jodie BurkinshawNo, it was more a how-do-I question from me. Nothing about a client.
- Donna WraggRight. Good. Because if it slows my lot down, I'd rather not make them use it.
- Nell AshcombeThat's the right instinct, Donna. So what would B-Viz say about the way the consultants use it? Daniel, what are the questions people are asking?
- Daniel OkaforMostly the thing you bought it for. A consultant asks about a client and gets the open roles, the placements and the invoices together, rather than going round three systems. The people who do that do it often. It's the others who haven't picked it up.
- Donna WraggDoes it save my lot time, though? That's what I need to be able to say to them. Not 'it's clever', just 'it saves you ten minutes before a client call'.
- Nell AshcombeI won't put a figure on it, because I'd be inventing one. But Daniel can show you, with your own data, the difference between the old way and the new way for a single client. That's the thing to put in front of consultants.
- Daniel OkaforYes, I can do that. Would it help if I picked a client you work with a lot, and we built the example together on a live call? Then Jodie could share it with the team.
- Donna WraggYeah. Pick one of the warehouse clients. They rebook all the time, so everyone knows them.
- Jodie BurkinshawI could put a short note round the consultants with a link, if the example's something they can open themselves.
- Daniel OkaforThat would be ideal, Jodie. I'll make it something they can open from a page rather than having to type a question from scratch. How is the team finding the chat side? Do they type questions, or do they prefer the pages?
- Donna WraggPages. They like pages. Typing's a faff when you're on the phone.
- Daniel OkaforThen pages it is, so we'll build around that.
- Jodie BurkinshawCan I ask about something unrelated? When people leave, how do I take their seat off? And do I lose anything they've saved?
- Daniel OkaforGood question, and a sensible one to ask before it happens. You can free the seat in the admin settings and give it to someone new. I'd want to double check exactly what happens to anything they saved, so I'll come back to you by the end of the week rather than guess.
- Jodie BurkinshawThanks. I've got a couple of starters coming in the next few weeks, so it'd be handy.
- Donna WraggOh, and those two new ones could do the session you're talking about. Get them off on the right foot.
- Nell AshcombeI like that. A short onboarding for the new joiners, then the client example for the wider team. It's a small amount of effort and it directly answers what you asked for at the start.
- Donna WraggPerfect. Keep it simple.
- Nell AshcombeOne more thing, and then I'll let you go. The contract comes up for renewal at the end of July. You'll hear from Daniel on that, and Terry will be in the conversation, as he should be. I'd just say that I'd like the renewal to rest on whether the team actually finds this useful, not on us persuading you.
- Donna WraggThat's fair. I'll be honest with Terry. He's asking what it costs, so the better I can say what it saves, the better.
- Daniel OkaforWhich is exactly why the client example matters. Let me summarise, so we're all agreed. First, I'll book a short session for the new joiners, with Donna and Jodie, in the next couple of weeks. Second, I'll build the warehouse client example with Donna and give it to Jodie to circulate. Third, I'll come back to Jodie on seats and saved items by the end of the week. And the renewal will follow separately, with Terry and your finance team.
- Jodie BurkinshawThat all works for me.
- Donna WraggSame. Ta, both. Sorry again about the late start.
- Nell AshcombeNo apology needed. Thanks, Donna, thanks, Jodie. Best, Nell.
- Daniel OkaforThank you again for your time. Best wishes, speak soon.
- Jodie BurkinshawBye now.
