What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Donna Wragg reports newer consultants now use chat after the session, and she feels better about renewing than in January. She will not buy more and will not discuss renewal yet. Daniel will draft a client summary page.
What happened: Donna said the newer consultants started using chat after Daniel's session, and one found a client's last three placements in about a minute. Daniel quoted around four people a day, up on the winter.
Customer view: She likes seeing roles, placements and invoices together, and the chat memory issue is handled with a note in a document. Nothing has broken and no tickets have been raised.
Commercial: Starter at £20k a year matches the invoices, and the term ends on 30 Jul 2024. Donna ruled out buying more and would not discuss renewing, though she is feeling better about it than in January.
Watch: Her rule is never to overpay, so any upsell is unlikely. The one-page usage note is the value case for her boss.

Next steps
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- Donna to send an example of a good client summary.
- Daniel to draft a client summary page using her wording.
- Daniel to send Donna a one-page usage note in a few weeks.
Risks
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- Donna has said she will not buy more, and renewal is a decision for her and her boss.
- Consultants still build client summaries by hand, so Starter may feel less useful if the page is not quick.
Opportunities
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- A one-click client summary page in B-Viz pages could cement daily use ahead of the renewal.
Transcript
- Daniel OkaforGood afternoon Donna. Thank you for your time. Can you hear me? I've just got the recording indicator showing.
- Donna WraggHiya. Yep, I can hear you. Sorry, it's a bit late in the day, I've been on the phone to a client since lunch.
- Daniel OkaforNo apology needed. Which client was that, if you can say?
- Donna WraggOne of the big distribution centres. They want six drivers by the end of the month and they've just told me. Typical. Anyway. Good news first, the consultants actually said something nice this time.
- Daniel OkaforWell, that's a change. Go on.
- Donna WraggAfter your session, the newer ones started using the chat. One of them found a client's last three placements in about a minute, rather than ringing round. She came and told me. She was chuffed.
- Daniel OkaforThat's lovely to hear. How is the team finding it day to day, beyond that one example?
- Donna WraggBetter. Not everyone, but more than before. They like that it shows the roles, the placements and the invoices together. Keep it simple, they said, and for once it is.
- Daniel OkaforI'm really glad. And it shows in the numbers. Around four people a day on average now, which is up on the winter, a good step up against the previous quarter.
- Donna WraggFour. Well, that's four more than I'd have guessed in December. Is that good, though? We've got fifteen licences.
- Daniel OkaforIt's heading the right way. You've got a lot of room, and I'd rather see it grow steadily than spike. If it keeps climbing we can look at who else would benefit, but there's no need for anything extra from you. You're nowhere near the limit.
- Donna WraggGood, because I'm not buying more. Never overpay, that's my rule.
- Daniel OkaforNoted, and I wouldn't suggest it. Did the chat memory thing ever get sorted, by the way? Just to close the loop, I remember I owed you an answer on that.
- Donna WraggYou did give me an answer. They just keep a note of the question now, in a doc. Not perfect, but it works. They don't moan about it any more.
- Daniel OkaforGood. If that changes, tell me. I'd hate for a small thing to put people off.
- Donna WraggWill do. Oh, and tickets. I know there haven't been any. Nothing's gone wrong. The numbers are always there in the morning.
- Daniel OkaforI can see that on our side too. Nothing open, nothing high priority, and your invoices are all paid up, so thank you for that as well.
- Donna WraggOur finance lady is scary about paying on time. She'd have your hide.
- Daniel OkaforI'm very glad she's on our side. Now, I wanted to ask about what you'd like to get out of it next. Is there something the consultants still do by hand that they shouldn't?
- Donna WraggHmm. Yes, actually. Before a client call they still pull together a bit of a summary. What roles we filled, what's outstanding, how long it took. They do it from memory or a spreadsheet.
- Daniel OkaforRight. And that's exactly what the pages are for. I could set up a simple client summary page for them, so it's the same layout every time. Would that save your lot time?
- Donna WraggIt would if it's quick. If they have to fiddle about, forget it.
- Daniel OkaforIt would be one click from the client's name. I'll build a draft with you rather than for you, so it uses your wording. Maybe next time we speak, or sooner if you send me what a good summary looks like.
- Donna WraggI'll dig out a decent one. There's a good one one of the senior consultants does for the logistics people. I'll send it over.
- Daniel OkaforPerfect. Then, just so you have it, a quick word on the contract. You started on 31 Jul 2023, and the term ends on 30 Jul 2024, with renewal on 31 Jul 2024. It's Starter at £19,500 a year, and it matches what's been invoiced.
- Donna WraggYeah, I remember. It's a few months off. I'm not going to say anything about renewing today, that's for me and the boss to sit down over. But I'm feeling better about it than I was in January, I'll say that.
- Daniel OkaforThat means a lot, thank you. There's no hurry. I'll come back to you in a few weeks with a short note on how the usage has gone, so you have something to show your boss when the time comes.
- Donna WraggThat would help. Short, mind. One page. He won't read two.
- Daniel OkaforOne page, understood. Who uses it, what they ask, and how that's moved. Nothing more.
- Donna WraggLovely. Right, I'd better go and ring that distribution centre back before they change their minds again.
- Daniel OkaforOf course. So just to recap: you'll send me the summary example, I'll draft a client summary page, and I'll put together the one-page usage note in a few weeks. Have I missed anything?
- Donna WraggNo, that's the lot. Thanks, Daniel.
- Daniel OkaforThank you, Donna. Best wishes to the team, and good luck with those drivers.
