What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Donna Wragg says B-Viz saves her warehouse desk time and there are no problems. Her managing director will question cost before the Starter term ends on 30 Jul 2024, so she wants a one-page case.
What happened: Daniel Okafor ran a routine check-in on 10 Nov 2023. Donna reported that the warehouse desk now asks the chat instead of ringing her, and that the driving team is coming round. Engineering is not using it and she will not force it.
Customer view: Her test is whether it saves her team time, and for the warehouse desk it does. She has seen no refresh problems, and Daniel confirmed there are no tickets from her recently.
Commercial: The Starter subscription is £20k a year, and the term runs to 30 Jul 2024. Donna cannot decide money without the managing director, who asks about cost first. She asked for a single page covering use, savings and cost.
Watch: Engineering stays outside. Daniel offered a short session for that desk and Donna said maybe, if it is short.

Follow-up
Next steps
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- Daniel Okafor to draft a one-page summary of use, savings and cost and review it with Donna before the year end.
- Daniel to send Donna a rough outline for the engineering session.
- Donna's systems coordinator to add the two new starters in the admin screen.
Risks
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- The managing director decides on cost and has not yet seen a value case for the Starter subscription.
- The engineering desk does not use B-Viz, so adoption is limited to some teams.
Opportunities
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- A short engineering-desk session built on one example from their own clients could widen use within Starter.
Transcript
- Daniel OkaforHello Donna, can you hear me alright? Thanks very much for making the time this morning.
- Donna WraggLoud and clear. Bit of a rush, I've had consultants in my ear since eight.
- Daniel OkaforHa. Go on then, what are they complaining about this week?
- Donna WraggMostly the printer. But the other one is they want to see a client's open roles and last placements without clicking through three screens. Which, to be fair, is what your thing does. So they're asking for something they already have.
- Daniel OkaforThat's a lovely complaint to have, actually. Is it that they haven't found it, or they've forgotten it's there?
- Donna WraggForgotten, mostly. The newer ones. The old hands just type the client name in and off they go.
- Daniel OkaforRight. Because what I'm seeing on my side is a proper change. A lot more of your people are in there than when we last spoke, and they're asking real questions, not just poking about.
- Donna WraggIs that good? I can never tell with graphs.
- Daniel OkaforIt's very good. It's the best sign we get. Hardly anyone was using it in the early weeks, and now it's several people most days. How is the team finding it?
- Donna WraggDoes it save my lot time? That's my test. And yes, for the warehouse desk it does. They used to ring me to ask which client was behind on invoices. Now they just ask the chat.
- Daniel OkaforWhich client is that, out of interest? The one that was always behind?
- Donna WraggHa, I'm not saying on a recorded call. One of the logistics ones. Let's leave it there.
- Daniel OkaforFair enough. Is it just the warehouse desk, or are the driving and engineering teams in there too?
- Donna WraggDriving is coming round. Engineering, no. They live in their own spreadsheets and they like it that way. I'm not forcing it. Keep it simple for the consultants, that's my rule.
- Daniel OkaforCompletely agree. I wouldn't push it either. If I can offer something, it might be a short session for the engineering desk, twenty minutes, one example from their own clients. No pressure.
- Donna WraggMm. Maybe. If it's short. They won't sit through a presentation.
- Daniel OkaforUnderstood. Just to close the loop on that, I'll put a rough outline together and you can tell me if it's worth anyone's time.
- Donna WraggGo on then.
- Daniel OkaforAnything not working? Any refresh problems, anything looking out of date in the mornings?
- Donna WraggNothing. I'd have shouted. Our systems coordinator would have shouted louder, honestly. She's been quiet, which I'm taking as good.
- Daniel OkaforI can see no tickets from you at all recently, so that matches. Nothing open on our side either.
- Donna WraggGood. Quiet is what I'm paying for.
- Daniel OkaforHa, fair. Which brings me on to something gentle. You're on Starter, fifteen licensed users, nineteen and a half thousand a year, and the term runs to 30 Jul 2024. Plenty of time, so this isn't a sales call.
- Donna WraggNo, I know. Our managing director will ask me about it anyway. He asks about cost before he says hello.
- Daniel OkaforI'd expect nothing less. What would help him? If you tell me what he'd want to see, I can pull it together nearer the time.
- Donna WraggSomething short. He won't read an email. A page, maybe. What we're using, what it saves, what it costs. I can't decide money without him anyway.
- Daniel OkaforOf course. A single page it is. I'll come back to you before the year end with a draft, and we can sit down together before it goes anywhere near him.
- Donna WraggLovely. Oh, and one more thing. Two of the new starters haven't got logins yet.
- Daniel OkaforEasy. You're well inside your fifteen. Ask your coordinator to add them in the admin screen, or send me their names and I'll check it's gone through.
- Donna WraggI'll get her to do it. Saves me nagging you.
- Daniel OkaforNo nagging needed. Right, I think that's everything from me. Anything else on your list before we finish?
- Donna WraggNo, that's me. Just keep it simple and keep it quiet.
- Daniel OkaforI'll do my best on both. Thanks again, Donna. Speak soon, and good luck with the printer.
- Donna WraggTa, bye.
