What was said
What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Demo to Feldmoching Software's customer success and support leads. They want installer tickets, usage and renewal dates on one page, and written proof that data stays in the EU. A decision is targeted for 30 Jan 2026.
What happened: Hannah Lowe demoed B-Viz on a sample helpdesk, CRM and usage feed. Katharina Huber and Lukas Brandl saw the one-page installer view and the chat.
Customer view: Katharina said the list "is exactly what my colleagues build by hand every month". Lukas wants the data location documented and a light workload for his stretched team.
Commercial: Matteo Ricci said the Growth tier deal is sixty-two thousand pounds in total, implementation included, with a proposal to follow. Katharina cannot decide budget alone and needs a proposal she can take upstairs.
Watch: Legal needs data location, access and deletion documented in writing. No go-live date was given because engineering has not seen the sources.

Next steps
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- Hannah Lowe sends the architecture and data location note, including the connector needs from Lukas, this week.
- Matteo Ricci sends the proposal separately, in a form Katharina can take upstairs.
- Katharina Huber sends her legal team's data questions to BG-Demo.
Risks
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- Katharina cannot decide budget alone, so the buyer above her is not yet engaged.
- Legal sign-off on data location, access and deletion is outstanding.
- Lukas's team is stretched and no go-live date was given, so implementation effort could stall the deal.
Opportunities
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- Growth tier for customer success and support teams, with dashboards the team can build itself.
- The hand-built monthly installer list is a clear value case to repeat in the proposal.
Transcript
- Matteo RicciHello, hello. Can everyone hear me all right? Good morning, Katharina.
- Katharina HuberGood morning, Matteo, yes, we hear you well. Lukas is just joining, I think he is still fighting with the meeting link.
- Lukas BrandlI am here, sorry. The browser wanted to update first. Hello everyone.
- Hannah LoweHi both, Hannah here. I'm the solutions engineer, so I'll be driving the screen today. Before I share anything, what do you most need to know by the end of this hour?
- Katharina HuberGood question. For me it is quite simple. Which installer, which version, what do the tickets say, and what does the usage say. At the moment my team opens three or four tools to answer that before a renewal call.
- Lukas BrandlAnd from my side, where does the data physically sit. We need it documented that it stays in the EU. Also how much work it is for me to keep it running.
- Matteo RicciUnderstood, and I would rather you heard the architecture answer early than late. Hannah, maybe start there, then go to the installer view. The timeline on our side is still the end of January for a decision, so there is room to go properly through everything.
- Hannah LoweSure. The short answer is that B-Viz runs inside your own Snowflake account. The longer answer is that we deploy into the region you choose, so if you choose an EU region, the indexed data lives there and nowhere else. We don't copy it into a separate BG-Demo store.
- Lukas BrandlSo it is our Snowflake, our region, our access policies.
- Hannah LoweYes. To be precise, the connectors read from your sources and write into your account, and your team controls the roles. I'll put the exact wording in writing afterwards so you can attach it to your own documentation.
- Katharina HuberGood. That is what we need. Please continue.
- Hannah LoweOkay, I'm sharing now. This is a demo workspace, but I've loaded it with the kind of shape your data has: a helpdesk, a CRM, and a usage feed. Katharina, give me an installer you'd normally look at on a renewal list.
- Katharina HuberLet us say a mid-sized heating firm near Salzburg. Several technicians, using the scheduling module, an older version.
- Hannah LoweRight. So I'll ask it in plain language. Show me the support tickets, usage trend and renewal date for that installer.
- Hannah LoweAnd there we are. One page: tickets grouped by topic, the usage curve over the last few months, the renewal date from the CRM, and the last few emails. Each line links back to its source record.
- Katharina HuberMm. That is nice. And if the usage is falling but the tickets are quiet?
- Hannah LoweThen you can ask exactly that. Which installers have fewer tickets and less usage than last quarter. Silence can be a signal, so it's worth reading the two together. Let me run it.
- Lukas BrandlHow does it know which ticket belongs to which installer? Our customer names are not always typed the same way.
- Hannah LoweThe short answer is it matches on identifiers where they exist. The longer answer is that messy names are the usual weak point, so in the first weeks we review the matches with you and fix the rules. I wouldn't promise it's perfect on day one.
- Lukas BrandlThat is honest. Fine. We have some clean-up to do anyway.
- Matteo RicciAnd that is a point I would raise with every customer, Lukas. The tool is only as good as the sources, so let me confirm in writing what we expect from your side in the first phase.
- Hannah LoweNow the dashboards. On the Growth tier you can build your own. Here I've made one for renewals in the next quarter, sorted by risk. It's just a saved question with a chart on top.
- Katharina HuberCan my team build that without you, or do they need an engineer?
- Hannah LoweThey can build it themselves. Ask, adjust, save. Your admin sets who can see what. Lukas, that would be you, mainly.
- Lukas BrandlOkay. So I decide who sees which installer data. Good.
- Hannah LoweLet me show you refresh. The pipelines run overnight, and the aim is that the data is up to date early in the morning on working days. If a connector breaks, for instance after you change something in your helpdesk, the admin page shows records indexed going flat.
- Lukas BrandlSo I would see the problem before the support team complains.
- Hannah LoweThat's the idea, yes. Not always, but that is the page to watch.
- Katharina HuberCould you go back to the page with the emails? I want to see whether it respects what we are allowed to show. Some installer contracts have confidentiality terms.
- Hannah LoweGood thing to ask. Access follows the roles in your Snowflake account, so you could restrict a source to a smaller group. I'd want to check your exact setup before saying more than that.
- Matteo RicciKatharina, what does your legal team need to see? If you tell me the questions, I can have them answered in writing, not just on a call.
- Katharina HuberData location, who can access it, and how deletion works. We need it documented, all three.
- Matteo RicciNoted. Hannah will send that.
- Hannah LoweYes, I'll put it together this week and keep it factual.
- Hannah LoweLast part from me: the chat. You can just ask, which installers on the older version raised the most scheduling tickets since the summer. Let me type it live.
- Katharina HuberThat list is exactly what my colleagues build by hand every month. That is hours of work.
- Lukas BrandlTwo of those names I recognise as unhappy ones. So it is not nonsense, at least.
- Hannah LoweGood, though please check it against what you know. It's a starting point, and every answer shows its sources.
- Matteo RicciBefore we run out of time, let me say where we are commercially, so nothing is a surprise. We are looking at the Growth tier. The deal is sixty-two thousand pounds in total, with the implementation included. I will send a proper proposal separately.
- Katharina HuberThank you for saying it plainly. I cannot decide budget alone, so I will need the proposal in a form I can take upstairs.
- Matteo RicciOf course. And we are working towards a decision around 30 Jan 2026, if that still suits you.
- Katharina HuberIt should, yes. The holidays make it tight, but yes.
- Lukas BrandlOne practical thing. How long until I see real installer data in this, not demo data? I am asking because my team is stretched.
- Hannah LoweI won't give you a date today, because engineering would need to see your sources first. What I can say is that the first connectors usually come first and the rest follow. I'll write up the steps, so you can judge the effort.
- Lukas BrandlFine, that helps.
- Katharina HuberSo, next steps from our side: I will think about the data questions for our legal team and send them to you.
- Matteo RicciPerfect. From us: Hannah sends the architecture and data location note, I send the proposal, and we speak again before the holidays. Anything missing?
- Lukas BrandlJust the list of what you need from me for the connectors, please.
- Hannah LoweYes, that will be in the note.
- Katharina HuberGood. Thank you both, this was useful. Viele Grüße to everyone.
- Matteo RicciThank you, Katharina, Lukas. Speak soon. Ciao.
- Hannah LoweThanks all, bye.
