What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Kerry Bramall says B-Viz lets a small team cope without new hires. Marcus Bell could not offer a landlord-facing view on Starter. She must run the renewal past whoever signs off spend, so earlier notice helps.
What happened: Marcus Bell ran the 14 Sep 2026 QBR. Active use held at about three people a month, there were no tickets last month and nightly data is landing on time.
Customer view: Kerry described landlords getting answers without anyone opening several systems. She said "We didn't take anyone on, and we're still keeping up."
Commercial: The call recorded £22k a year as invoiced and paid, with the term to 29 Apr 2027 and renewal on 30 Apr 2027. Kerry said she must run it past whoever signs the spending off, and that person did not join the call.
Watch: Marcus said a landlord-facing view is not available on Starter and offered a manual summary page instead. Kerry also mentioned contractor invoices as a possible future connector, which meets the firm Starter limit.

Next steps
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- Kerry Bramall to note a few real examples of time saved, to review with Marcus Bell before the end of the year.
- Marcus Bell to send the landlord summary page steps and a note on the connector limit, and to flag the renewal to Tom Ashdown.
Risks
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- The person who signs off spend was not on the call, and Kerry needs to take the renewal to them.
- Use is still about three of fifteen licensed users, so the value story rests on a few people.
Opportunities
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- Contractor invoices as a possible fifth connector would meet the Starter hard limit and could prompt a Growth conversation.
- Landlord demand for their own view could go to the product team as a request.
Transcript
- Kerry BramallHello, hello. Am I early?
- Marcus BellMorning, Kerry. No, I'm just getting set up. Bear with me while I share my screen.
- Kerry BramallTake your time. I've got the repairs backlog open in the other window, it's down a bit this week, which is a rare treat.
- Marcus BellGood news. Right, can you see the review pack?
- Kerry BramallYes, I can see it.
- Marcus BellSo what I want to cover today is how things have gone since you joined, what the team is getting out of it, anything that's not working, and what we might do for the rest of the term. I've pulled the numbers, but what you tell me matters more than the charts.
- Kerry BramallGo on then.
- Marcus BellLet's start with people. About three of you are active in a typical month now. That's up on last quarter, and it's held steady since our last check-in in August.
- Kerry BramallYes, we did the Tuesday huddle, remember? After that a couple more people poked around. They don't all log in every week, mind.
- Marcus BellThat's normal. The licence is for fifteen users, so there's a lot of room still. I'm not pushing anyone to use it for the sake of it, but if the lettings team found a use for it I'd be glad.
- Kerry BramallThey've dipped in. The trouble is they're out all day. I think it'll stick once they see it saves them a phone call.
- Marcus BellFair. Could you tell me what it's actually changed for the property managers? In your own words.
- Kerry BramallHonestly? Landlords ring up and say what's happening with the damp at the flat. Before, someone had to open the repairs system, then the statements, then maybe look at emails. Now they just ask and it's there.
- Marcus BellSo fewer tabs, quicker answers.
- Kerry BramallYes. And a small team that copes. That's the whole point for me. We didn't take anyone on, and we're still keeping up.
- Marcus BellThat's worth writing down, actually. When it comes to the renewal I'd like to be able to say what it's given you, so can we agree a couple of examples before the end of the year?
- Kerry BramallI can do that. I'll jot down a few real ones. Not naming landlords, obviously.
- Marcus BellNo, that's fine, keep it general. Next, support. There were no tickets last month at all. Is that quiet because everything works, or because people have given up asking?
- Kerry BramallHa. No, I think it's because it works. If it didn't I'd be on to you.
- Marcus BellI hoped you'd say that. And the nightly data, is it landing before the team starts?
- Kerry BramallAlways has been when I've looked. First thing I check, honestly. It's like checking the post.
- Marcus BellGood. I see the same from here. Now, you mentioned in August that landlords wanted to see their own statements and tickets together.
- Kerry BramallYes! Has anything come of that? I'd half forgotten I'd asked.
- Marcus BellI looked into it. On Starter, the pages and chat are for your staff. A landlord-facing view isn't something I can offer you as it stands, and I'm not going to promise something I can't deliver. What your team can do is build a landlord summary page and send it on.
- Kerry BramallOh. Right. So we'd send it manually?
- Marcus BellFor now, yes. It's a stopgap. If there's a bigger need I can pass it to our product people as a request, but I can't tell you if or when anything would come of it.
- Kerry BramallThat's fair. Let's not overcomplicate it. A summary page would already be better than what we do now. Can you show me how to set one up?
- Marcus BellHappy to, let me do it live. Give me a second, I'll pick a landlord in the demo set so we don't show anything real.
- Kerry BramallMm. So it pulls the repairs and then the statement lines underneath?
- Marcus BellYes. And you can ask in chat for just the open ones. Try it.
- Kerry BramallWhich property is that, the one at the top? Oh, I see, it's the sample. Right. Brilliant, that's the one I'd send.
- Marcus BellI'll send you the steps in writing so the property managers can follow them without me.
- Kerry BramallLovely. They'll love that.
- Marcus BellAnything on the connectors side before we move on? Any new systems you're thinking of bringing in?
- Kerry BramallNot at the moment. Maybe the contractor invoices at some point, but we're nowhere near that.
- Marcus BellOkay. Just so you know, Starter has a firm limit on connectors, so if that conversation comes up, come to me early and we'll see where you stand rather than hit a wall.
- Kerry BramallUnderstood. I'll shout.
- Marcus BellRight, the commercial side, briefly, and I'll keep it light because that's Tom's area. You're on £22,000 a year, invoiced and paid, nothing outstanding. The term runs to 29 Apr 2027 and the renewal date is 30 Apr 2027.
- Kerry BramallYes, that's what I have. Who do I speak to nearer the time, you or Tom?
- Marcus BellBoth, in a way. I'll start the conversation about how it's gone, and Tom will pick up anything about terms. I'll flag it to him so you're not surprised.
- Kerry BramallGood. I do need to run it past whoever signs the spending off, so the earlier I know the better.
- Marcus BellUnderstood. That's why I wanted those examples of what it's done for you, so you've got something to show them.
- Kerry BramallIs there anything else on your list? I've got to dash into a repairs meeting.
- Marcus BellJust the next steps. I'll send the steps for the landlord summary page and a note on the connector limit. You'll jot down a few real examples of time saved, and we'll look at them together before the end of the year.
- Kerry BramallYes. And I'll try again to get the lettings people in. Maybe a one to one with whoever's keenest.
- Marcus BellHappy to jump on a call with them. Shall we book 30 minutes once you've picked someone?
- Kerry BramallYes, I'll let you know who. Thanks, Marcus, this was useful.
- Marcus BellThanks, Kerry. Good luck with the repairs meeting. Speak soon.
