What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026First onboarding call on the Growth plan. Sanne wants account managers to see shipments and exceptions quickly. Thijs flagged the customs declaration export as uncertain and asked for a second admin.
What happened: Laura confirmed the Growth scope and agreed the connector order: shipments and exceptions first, then invoices, then calls and emails. Thijs will check how the customs declarations can be exported.
Customer view: Sanne wants concrete results for her account managers and does not want to lose a week. She will collect five real questions from her team to test B-Viz.
Commercial: Forty seats is more than they will use at first, so low early logins are expected. Growth covers the dashboards builder and quarterly reviews.
Watch: Thijs is the admin for most systems and said nobody else knows how any of this works. The customs supplier is slow, and the declarations may not connect cleanly.

- The customs declarations may not connect cleanly and the supplier is slow.
- Forty seats against a small initial user group may make early usage look low.
Opportunities
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- The dashboards builder and quarterly reviews in the Growth tier can show value once real questions are answered.

Transcript
- Laura PenhaligonHi both, can you hear me all right? I can see Thijs, Sanne, I think you're on mute.
- Sanne VerhoevenSorry, yes. Hello. Good, I'm here. Let me start with the worst one this week, because it is still in my head. One importer has a container held for a customs check. Where is the container now? Still at the terminal. What has the customer been told? We told them Friday, so that is fine, but it cost me half of this morning.
- Laura PenhaligonThat sounds like a rough start to the week. And that's exactly the sort of thing we want to pull together for you, so it's a useful way in. Thijs, hello.
- Thijs BrouwerHello Laura. Yes, hi. I have the notes from the kickoff open. We are a bit early in this, I think, but I have already looked at who needs to be an admin.
- Laura PenhaligonGreat. So, the plan for today, nothing heavy. I'd like to confirm what you bought, agree the order we connect your systems, and name an owner for each one. Then I'll tell you what I need from you before next time. Does that work?
- Sanne VerhoevenYes. Let's be concrete. I want to know what my account managers will see at the end of this, and when.
- Laura PenhaligonFair. So you're on Growth, forty seats, with the contract at forty-seven thousand five hundred a year. The implementation runs about eight weeks from the start, and Growth gives you up to eight connectors, plus the dashboards builder and a review every quarter.
- Thijs BrouwerForty seats is more than we will use at first. Probably the account managers and the customs desk, and a few people in finance. Is it a problem if they do not all log in straight away?
- Laura PenhaligonNo, not at all. It's normal for the first weeks to look quiet. People log in when there's something worth looking at, so the data matters more than the logins at this stage.
- Sanne VerhoevenMm. Good. Then the data. Which systems first?
- Laura PenhaligonThat's really the question for you two. From the scoping, the picture was shipments and exceptions, the CRM, your calls, emails, the helpdesk and the invoices from the accounting system. Is that still how you'd rank them?
- Sanne VerhoevenShipments and exceptions first. Without that nothing else is useful. Then invoices, because clean invoices are a thing I care about a lot. Then calls and emails.
- Thijs BrouwerThe shipment data sits in our transport system and the customs declarations are partly in a separate system. That is my area. I can give you read access to both, but I have to check how the declarations are exported. It may not be a clean connection.
- Laura PenhaligonOkay, that's helpful to know early. Can you find out whether there's a database view or a regular export we could read from? If it's an export, we can still land it in your Snowflake account and take it from there.
- Thijs BrouwerYes. I will ask the supplier. It might take a few days, they are not fast.
- Sanne VerhoevenAnd if they are slow, we start with the transport system only. We do not wait. Agreed?
- Laura PenhaligonAgreed. We'll go in with shipments first and add customs when it's ready. Now, the thing I should say clearly: B-Viz runs inside your own Snowflake account, so someone needs to be the person who can approve what we create there. Thijs, is that you?
- Thijs BrouwerYes, I think so. I am the admin for most systems already. I would like one more person as a back-up, though. If I am away, nobody else knows how any of this works.
- Sanne VerhoevenA colleague in IT could do it. I will ask. Not today, but this week.
- Laura PenhaligonThat would be wise. A second admin makes a big difference later, especially around holidays. Let me note that as an action for Sanne.
- Sanne VerhoevenFine. Short sentence: I will do it.
- Laura PenhaligonLovely. Right, I'm going to share my screen and show you the checklist I use, so you can see what each connector needs. Give me a second. Can you see it?
- Thijs BrouwerYes, I see it. It is small but I can read it.
- Laura PenhaligonI'll make it bigger. Okay. So each connector has the same four steps. Credentials, a first test load, a check of the records against something you know, and then the nightly refresh switched on. The check is the part people skip, and it's the part that matters.
- Sanne VerhoevenWhat kind of check? Be concrete.
- Laura PenhaligonSomething like: pick one importer you know really well, and see whether the shipments and the exceptions B-Viz shows match what your team would say. If they match, we trust it. If they don't, we find out why before anyone relies on it.
- Sanne VerhoevenGood. I have one importer in mind. They have many shipments from Asia and they complain a lot, so I know their file by heart.
- Thijs BrouwerHa. Yes, I think I know which one.
- Laura PenhaligonPerfect, then that's our test importer. I'll write it into the plan. Thijs, for the first connector, what do you need from me?
- Thijs BrouwerA list of what you will read. Tables, fields, so I can approve it. Our security person will ask, and I would rather give one document than answer ten questions.
- Laura PenhaligonUnderstood. I'll send you a short access list tomorrow, read-only, with the reasons. If you can look at it quickly, we can load a first test by the end of the week.
- Thijs BrouwerThat should be possible. I will try.
- Sanne VerhoevenOne more thing from me. When the account managers use this, they should not need to ask Thijs for everything. If they ask a question about a delayed container, they get an answer. Is that realistic?
- Laura PenhaligonThat's the goal, yes. I wouldn't promise it on day one, because it depends on the data being loaded and checked. But that's what we're building towards, and we'll test it with real questions from your team, not with ours.
- Sanne VerhoevenGood. I will collect five questions from my team. The real ones. The ones they ask me on Mondays.
- Laura PenhaligonBrilliant, that's exactly right. Can you send those over before our next call?
- Sanne VerhoevenYes. Groet, I mean, I will send them by email.
- Thijs BrouwerLaura, can I ask about the accounting system? Who needs to be involved? Finance will want to know before I give access.
- Laura PenhaligonGood point. I'd suggest you or Sanne talk to your finance lead this week, just a heads-up that invoices will be read, read-only. Then on the next call we'll agree who from finance joins for that connector.
- Sanne VerhoevenI will talk to finance. They like to be told first. They are fine if you ask nicely.
- Laura PenhaligonHa, noted. Okay, let me recap so we all leave with the same list. Thijs checks how the customs declarations can be read and approves the access list when I send it. Sanne finds a second admin, speaks to finance, and sends five real questions. I send the access list tomorrow and the plan with owners. Did I miss anything?
- Thijs BrouwerNo, that is everything for me.
- Sanne VerhoevenFine for me. Let's be quick and not lose a week.
- Laura PenhaligonAgreed, we'll keep moving. Thanks both, speak soon. Enjoy what's left of the day, and I hope that container moves.
- Sanne VerhoevenMe too. Groet, Sanne.
