What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Rachel Feldman reported the connector loading cleanly, a second admin in place and active users up to about seventeen after the walkthrough. Finance walkthrough and single sign-on are next.
What happened: Hamza Akhtar confirmed the study management connector has loaded cleanly every night since access was restored. The alert is on and a second admin is set up.
Customer view: Rachel said the walkthrough on the leads' own studies made the difference. She said this is feeling a lot better than three weeks ago.
Commercial: Average active users are about seventeen, still a fraction of the 150 Enterprise seats. Hamza proposed a finance walkthrough and single sign-on, which is part of the Enterprise set-up.
Watch: Rachel stressed that one sponsor's information must not be visible to people on another sponsor's account, and Meredith is firm on it. Role and permission set-up needs care.

- Hamza to add the extra sponsor to the mapping and plan the finance walkthrough.

- Sponsor data separation across roles must be right, or trust in the sponsor view could be lost.

- Single sign-on, part of the Enterprise set-up, deepens integration with the customer's IT team.
Transcript
- Hamza AkhtarGood evening, Rachel. Or good afternoon for you, I suppose. Sorry to book you late on my side.
- Rachel FeldmanHi Hamza. No, it's fine, this suits me better, honestly. I've got a quiet half hour before the school run.
- Hamza AkhtarLovely. Right, I've got some good news to start with, I think. The study management connector has been loading cleanly every night since the access was put back. Have you noticed?
- Rachel FeldmanI have. I checked it first thing every day for the first week, like a nervous parent. Now I only check twice a week. It's been solid.
- Hamza AkhtarGood, and the alert is on now, so if it does stop you'll hear before anyone else does. Did the second admin get set up in the end?
- Rachel FeldmanYes, one of my senior analysts. She's been in the admin page already, she's got opinions about the connector labels.
- Hamza AkhtarI'd love to hear them. Labels are the sort of thing we can change quickly. Write them down and send them over.
- Rachel FeldmanWill do. So the big thing this week is usage. Did you see the numbers?
- Hamza AkhtarI did. Average active users are up to about seventeen, which is well over triple where they were the previous quarter. It's the study management leads, mostly. They came in after the walkthrough.
- Rachel FeldmanThat walkthrough did it. Using their own studies rather than an example, that was the thing. One of them said it was the first time she'd seen issues and invoices for a sponsor on the same screen.
- Hamza AkhtarThat's the whole point of the thing, so I'm pleased. And tickets are quiet. Only one in the last month, and it wasn't urgent.
- Rachel FeldmanThat was mine. I asked how to save a search so the others could reuse it. Hamza, I know it's in the guide, I just hadn't read that page.
- Hamza AkhtarHa, no, don't apologise, that's what the ticket queue is for. Shall I show you quickly, so you can teach the others?
- Rachel FeldmanPlease. Share your screen.
- Hamza AkhtarOkay. So you run the search as normal. Sponsor, study phase, open issues. Then up here, save. Give it a name the team will recognise and choose who can see it. You can keep it private, share it with a group, or leave it open to everyone with a seat.
- Rachel FeldmanRight. And if I share it with a group, can I limit it so one sponsor team only sees their own sponsors?
- Hamza AkhtarYes, that's controlled by the permissions on the data rather than the search itself. So the search can be shared but each person only sees what they're allowed to see. I'll show you where that's set.
- Rachel FeldmanThat matters a lot for us. We can't have one sponsor's information visible to someone working on another sponsor's account. Meredith is very firm about that.
- Hamza AkhtarShe should be. Let's go through the roles in a moment. Before that, can I check the sponsor mapping? We merged the duplicate entries last time. Has anything new come up?
- Rachel FeldmanOne more spotted, a very small sponsor with an abbreviation. Otherwise it's clean. Finance said the invoice view finally lines up with the issues view.
- Hamza AkhtarSend me that one and I'll add it today. Now, the roles. Can you see this table? These are the groups you've got. Sponsor relations, study management, finance, and your own.
- Rachel FeldmanYes. Should the clinical operations data group be separate from mine, or is it the same thing?
- Hamza AkhtarSame thing at the moment. I'd keep it that way until you've got a reason to split. Fewer groups, fewer surprises.
- Rachel FeldmanFine by me. Okay, what's next for us? We've got 150 seats and we're using a fraction of them, but the direction's right.
- Hamza AkhtarIt is. Next I'd suggest the finance team gets its own walkthrough, since they're the group that hasn't had one. And then single sign-on, which is part of your Enterprise set-up, so that people aren't managing another password.
- Rachel FeldmanSingle sign-on, yes. Our IT team wanted to be involved in that. I'll introduce you by email.
- Hamza AkhtarGreat. Introduce me to whoever owns identity, and let them know I'll send a short checklist beforehand so the call is quick.
- Rachel FeldmanI'll do that tomorrow. Is there anything you need from me before then?
- Hamza AkhtarJust the extra sponsor name and your analyst's thoughts on the connector labels. And a couple of names from finance for the walkthrough, whenever you have them.
- Rachel FeldmanDone. This is feeling a lot better than three weeks ago, I have to say.
- Hamza AkhtarIt does from here too. Thanks for sticking with it, Rachel. Speak soon.
- Rachel FeldmanCheers, Hamza. Bye for now.
