What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Demo with Leanne Partington and Sajid Iqbal. The brand view matched Leanne's need. Sajid's worry is ERP mapping and connector breakage. Both want to see real data. Douglas was absent. Target readiness 20 Feb 2026.
What happened: Hannah Lowe demoed a sample environment built from Sajid's extracts, covering the connectors page, the brand page, chat and the dashboards builder. Douglas Entwistle was not on the call.
Customer view: Leanne said the brand view does what she hoped and the dashboard replaces a weekly spreadsheet that is out of date by Tuesday. Sajid's concern is name mapping between helpdesk and ERP, and Hannah was open that the first pass will be imperfect.
Commercial: The dashboards builder is part of Growth. Sophie Ling will send Douglas the written outline with figures and sources, and Leanne will chase him. Sajid asked for a second admin, which supports cover.
Watch: Both customer attendees want real data rather than the sample. The 20 Feb 2026 readiness date depends on Douglas being happy. The call header says 57 minutes but the transcript runs to about nine minutes plus a closing line at 00:56:10.

- Sophie Ling sends Douglas the written outline with figures and their source.
- Leanne and Sajid agree who the second admin would be this week.
Risks
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- Name mapping between the helpdesk and ERP will be imperfect on the first pass.
- A change in the board price table could stop that connector loading unless Sajid warns BG-Demo first.
- Douglas was absent and still needs the numbers before agreeing.
Opportunities
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- The dashboards builder in Growth replaces Leanne's out-of-date weekly spreadsheet.
- Customer margin is possible if cost data is connected, a scoping point for Douglas.
Transcript
- Sophie LingHello hello. Afternoon all. Can everyone hear me?
- Leanne PartingtonAfternoon Sophie. Yes. Sajid's here too, he's just sorting his headphones.
- Sajid IqbalHi, sorry. Is this better? It's quiet in the office, half the plant is off this week.
- Sophie LingPerfect. Bit of a strange week to be doing this, isn't it, between the holidays. Thanks for making the time. This is Hannah, our solutions engineer, she'll drive today.
- Hannah LoweHello. Before I share my screen, what do you most need to know from today? I'd rather start there than walk through everything.
- Leanne PartingtonFor me, a brand view. Pick a brand, see orders, complaints, invoices. Which brand, which line? That's the whole thing.
- Sajid IqbalMine is how it gets the data out of the ERP. And whether it breaks when we change something. We do change things.
- Hannah LoweGood, both fair. The short answer on the ERP is that it reads through a connector into your Snowflake account on a nightly refresh. The longer answer is that what matters is which tables we read and how you tell us when a field changes. I'll show you.
- Sajid IqbalOkay. Show me.
- Hannah LoweSharing now. Can you see the connectors page?
- Sajid IqbalYes. It's small but yes.
- Hannah LoweI'll zoom in. So this is a sample environment built from the extracts Sajid sent us last week. Each source has a status, a last refresh time, and a count of records indexed. If that count stops moving for a while, that's the first sign something upstream has changed.
- Sajid IqbalThat's useful. Right now I only find out when someone shouts.
- Leanne PartingtonWhich is usually me.
- Sophie LingHa. Well.
- Hannah LoweRight, let me go to the brand page. I've picked one of the drinks brands from your sample. Orders on the left, complaints from the helpdesk in the middle, invoices on the right, all lined up by date.
- Leanne PartingtonOh, that's the one. Hang on, scroll down. That short delivery, is that visible?
- Hannah LoweIn the sample, yes. Here, the delivery quantity against the order quantity, and the complaint logged two days later. If I ask in chat, show me deliveries that were short against the order for this brand, it answers from the same data and points to the rows.
- Hannah LoweThere. It lists them, and each one links back to the source record. To be precise, it's not guessing, it's reading what's in your tables.
- Leanne PartingtonAnd I can send that to the brand.
- Hannah LoweYou can copy the facts from it, yes. I'd still want a person to check before it goes out.
- Leanne PartingtonAlways. What did the customer see, that's what I'd check. I never tell a brand it's the plant's fault anyway.
- Sajid IqbalCan I ask about the match? How does it know the brand name in the helpdesk is the same as the account in the ERP? Ours aren't consistent. Half of them have the old trading names.
- Hannah LoweGood question, and honestly the one that decides whether this works. We build a mapping at implementation. It proposes matches, you confirm the awkward ones, and it keeps your confirmations. The longer answer is that the first pass will be imperfect, and I'd rather say that now.
- Sajid IqbalOkay. That I can live with. I'd rather have a list of the uncertain ones than a silent wrong match.
- Hannah LoweThat's exactly how it behaves. I'll put that in writing so you have it.
- Sophie LingHannah, show them the dashboards builder, since that's part of Growth.
- Hannah LoweYes. So you can build a dashboard from the questions you ask. Here's one I made, orders in full and on time by brand, by month. It's a simple one.
- Leanne PartingtonThat's my weekly meeting, right there. We do it on a spreadsheet at the moment and it's out of date by Tuesday.
- Sajid IqbalWho can edit it? I don't want the whole of customer service rewriting it.
- Hannah LoweAdmins control that. You'd be an admin, Sajid, so you decide who builds and who only views.
- Sajid IqbalFine. Is there a second admin? I'd like cover for when I'm off.
- Hannah LoweYes, you can have more than one, and I'd recommend it for exactly that reason.
- Leanne PartingtonDouglas will ask about margin. Can it do customer margin?
- Sophie LingIf the cost data is connected, yes. That's a scoping conversation with Douglas, and I'll keep it with him. I won't get into price here.
- Leanne PartingtonGood, I don't do price. That's his.
- Sajid IqbalOne thing. Board prices change every quarter. If the price table changes shape, does the connector fall over?
- Hannah LoweIt shouldn't fall over, but it might stop loading that table and flag it. To be precise, I'd want you to tell us before a structural change, and we'd handle it in an afternoon rather than a week.
- Sajid IqbalThat's reasonable.
- Sophie LingRight, I don't want to overrun. Where are we? Leanne, does the brand view do what you hoped?
- Leanne PartingtonYes. Yes, it does. I'd want to see it on real data, not the sample, but the shape is right.
- Sajid IqbalSame from me. My worry is the mapping, and I think Hannah's been straight about it.
- Sophie LingOkay. Next steps, then. Hannah sends the connector notes and the mapping approach in writing. I send Douglas the written outline with the figures and the source for them. Leanne, can you and Sajid agree who the second admin would be?
- Leanne PartingtonWe'll do that this week. I'll chase Douglas as well, he's not on today but he'll want the numbers. The aim is to be ready by 20 Feb 2026 if he's happy.
- Sophie LingThat's our working date too. Thanks everyone. Have a good rest of the holiday.
- Hannah LoweThanks, all. Speak soon.
