What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Lorna Cairns asked how to limit the deadlines view to each client manager's employers. Testing showed another employer's name in a column, and the record does not show it was hidden.
Problem: Lorna Cairns asked how to limit the deadlines view so each client manager sees only their own employers' pay dates. When she tested it, a column showed another employer's name.
Handling: Connor Webb gave the filter steps and said the employer name column should be hidden in the filtered view. He asked which client manager was tested and whether they could see any pay dates they should not.
Watch: Lorna said the column shows only the name, not data, but asked for it to be tidied before deadlines went out. The record does not show a fix or an answer to Connor's question, though the ticket closed on 16 Mar 2025.

- created · Lorna Cairns 7 Mar 2025 09:33Morning. Before my client managers start on the deadlines next week, can you tell me how to set up the view so each of them only sees their own employers' pay dates? I do not want anyone seeing another employer's data, so I need to get this right first time. Thanks, Lorna
- Public reply · Connor Webb 7 Mar 2025 16:02Hi Lorna, good question. Open the deadlines view, choose the client manager filter, and tick only the employers that person looks after. First you open the view, then you pick the filter, then you tick the employers. Could you try that on one client manager's login and tell me what you see? Thanks, Connor
- Public reply · Lorna Cairns 10 Mar 2025 11:02Thanks Connor. I tried it on one login. It shows the pay dates correctly, but there is also a column with another employer's name in it, so I am not sure I am seeing it right. Has the employer been told about this yet? Not that I think it's a problem, but let's get it right first time. Lorna
- Public reply · Lorna Cairns 10 Mar 2025 12:05Sorry, one more thing. I checked again and that column only shows the employer name, not their data. I would still like it tidied before the deadlines go out. Lorna
- Public reply · Connor Webb 10 Mar 2025 16:27Hi Lorna, that is the employer name column, and it should be hidden in the filtered view. I have picked this up and will look at the setting. Could you tell me which client manager you tried it with, and whether they can see any pay dates they should not? Thanks, Connor
