What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Ashok Patel asked for a branch filter on the trade account view, and Connor Webb logged it as a feature request with the product team. Connor found three branch records for one trade account, which explains the split view.
Problem: Ashok Patel wanted to switch between branches on one trade account, because deliveries from several branches on the same day were hard to tell apart.
Handling: Connor Webb logged the request with the product team on 17 Mar 2025, suggested the dashboards builder for orders by branch, and confirmed each account number is kept separately.
Watch: Ashok said the Midlands data looked different and would send screenshots separately, but the record does not show them. The ticket closed on 23 Mar 2025 with the filter still undecided.

- Public reply · Ashok Patel 17 Mar 2025 09:55Morning. Before I raise this properly, one question: when a trade account is linked to more than one branch, does the branch load pick up the first account number it finds? I'll write the full request this afternoon once I've checked. Ashok
- created · Ashok Patel 17 Mar 2025 13:24Hi, following on from this morning. What we need is a branch filter on the trade account view, so that when I open one account I can switch between the branches that trade with it without going back to the list. At the moment the branch load shows the whole account, and when a builder orders from three branches on the same day it's hard to tell which delivery belongs to which branch without a lot of clicking. I've attached a screenshot of the view with the branch column highlighted. I'm not sure whether the dashboards builder could do this or whether it's a change to the default view, so I'd rather ask than guess. I'll test it on one branch first before we roll anything out. Ashok
- Public reply · Connor Webb 17 Mar 2025 15:00Hi Ashok, thanks for the screenshot, it makes the problem clear. A branch filter on the trade account view is something we can look at, and I've passed it to the product team as a feature request with your branch layout attached. In the meantime the dashboards builder can show orders by branch for one account if you want something to use this week. Could you tell me which account number you use as the main one for the builder accounts, so I can check how the branch load links them? Connor
- Public reply · Connor Webb 17 Mar 2025 16:03Hi Ashok, I've checked the link. The branch load keeps each account number separately and does not merge them, so the builder accounts should show up under each branch. I can see three branch records for the same trade account, which is why the view looks split. Nothing has changed on your side. Connor
- Public reply · Ashok Patel 19 Mar 2025 11:26Thanks Connor. That matches what I see. I'll test it on one branch before we change anything on the wider load, and I'll let you know whether the filter needs to sit on the account or on the order list. The data says otherwise for the Midlands accounts, so I'll send those screenshots separately. Ashok
