As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Nell Ashcombe chased the £23k invoice from 30 Aug 2023, due 29 Sep 2023. Irene Coulson replied that she was waiting on an internal response and gave no payment date. Billing thread, no value complaint.
Ask: Nell asked for a call or a short note on when the invoice dated 30 Aug 2023 would be paid. The total is £23k, including VAT of £3,900.
Customer view: Irene, the Finance Manager, said she had raised it again internally and could not give a date. She asked for any queries in writing so she could log them.
Next: The evidence does not show why payment is held or whether it was later paid. It raises a money question, not a value question, so check accounting before treating the customer as unhappy.

- Nell Ashcombe 20 Oct 2023 14:45Hi Irene, Following up on the invoice from 30 Aug 2023, which was due on 29 Sep 2023 and is still showing unpaid. The total is £23,400, including VAT of £3,900. If it's easier, give me a call and we can talk it through. Otherwise, a short note on when payment is likely would help me. Best, Nell
- Irene Coulson 25 Oct 2023 16:46Hi Nell, Thanks for following up. I've raised it again internally and I'm waiting on a response before I can give you a payment date. I'll come back to you as soon as I have one. In the meantime, please send any queries on the invoice to me in writing so I can log them.
