What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Sophie Ling sent the Growth proposal at £60k. Leanne Partington says the connector list looks right, asks about brand and line detail, and is happy with it as a fit for customer service. Price is for Douglas.
Ask: Leanne wants assurance that the complaints log is covered and that staff can get down to brand and line. Sophie says this works if the records carry both fields, to be checked on the customer's own data.
Customer view: Leanne is content on fit but leaves the numbers to Douglas. She told him to expect Sophie's email.
Next: Sophie to set up a short call with Douglas. The proposal is an open item, not executed paper.

- Sophie Ling 19 Jan 2026 10:25Hi Leanne, Thanks for your time this morning. As promised, the proposal is attached. It covers the Growth tier for Astley Brook, with customer service, key accounts and credit all looking at the same view of each brand: orders, complaints and invoices together. The total deal value is £59,500. Could you have a read and tell me whether the connector list matches the systems your teams actually use day to day? That's the bit I most want to get right before it goes to Douglas. Best, Sophie
- Leanne Partington 22 Jan 2026 15:54Hi Sophie, Sorry for the slow reply, it's been a week of complaints. Read it twice now. The connector list looks right to me, though I'd want to be sure the complaints log is covered, since that's what my team lives in. One question: when someone asks about a brand, can they get down to the line? Which brand, which line? That's what I get asked every time a customer rings. I can't answer "what did the customer see?" without it. The numbers are Douglas's, so I'll leave those to him. Thanks, Leanne
- Sophie Ling 23 Jan 2026 11:13Hi Leanne, No problem at all. Short answer: yes, if the order and complaint records carry the brand and the line, your team can ask at that level and see the orders, the complaint and the invoice side by side. We would check how the fields are filled in as part of the demo on your own data, so you can see it with a real complaint rather than take my word for it. I'll keep the numbers with Douglas, as you say. Shall I set up a short call with him next week? Best, Sophie
- Leanne Partington 27 Jan 2026 09:55Sophie, That works for me. Yes please, go ahead and speak to Douglas. I've told him to expect your email. Let's close it today on my side: I'm happy with the proposal as a fit for customer service. Thanks, Leanne
