What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Sharon Tilley agreed to a Thursday 10:00 discovery call and will bring an account manager and a control room colleague. She said Nigel will not attend and she cannot commit budget without him.
Ask: Lewis Kerr wants a discovery call on systems, who assembles client information and what account managers need before calling a client.
Customer view: Sharon wants account managers who know every site and clients who hear about incidents from Marlcliff first. Budget needs Nigel, who wants to see something first.
Next: confirm the slot and answer her question on what to prepare.

- Lewis Kerr 3 Mar 2025 15:35Hello Sharon, Thank you for taking the time to talk to us about B-Viz. To confirm where I think we are: you'd like to see whether one view of each client's sites, incidents, calls and invoices would help your account managers and the control room, and you'd like to know soon enough to plan around it. Please correct me if I've got that wrong. Before we discuss anything commercial, I'd like to hold a discovery call. It would run for about an hour, and it's mostly me asking questions. I'd like to understand: - which systems hold your site, incident, call and invoice information today - who currently pulls that information together, and how long it takes them - what an account manager wants to know before they pick up the phone to a client - who else should be in the room I'd suggest later this week. Would Thursday morning or Friday afternoon suit you? If it helps, I'm happy to work around the control room's busiest shifts. I'll send a calendar invitation as soon as you tell me which works. If Nigel Fairbrother would like to join, he would be welcome, though I'll leave that to you. Kind regards, Lewis Lewis Kerr Account Executive, BG-Demo
- Sharon Tilley 4 Mar 2025 16:39Lewis, Thanks. You've got it about right, though I'd put it more simply: I want account managers who know every site, and clients who hear about an incident from us first. Thursday morning is fine. 10:00 works for me, and the control room handover is done by then. Friday is a mess. On who should be there: I'll bring one of my account managers and someone from the control room. They'll tell you what actually happens when an alarm goes off at a client site, which is more useful than me summarising it. I'd rather you hear it first-hand. Which site, which shift, what did the client hear from us. Nigel won't be on this one. He'll want to see something before he's in a room about it, and I can't commit any budget without him anyway. Let's get the picture straight first and then I'll take it to him. One question: do you need anything from us in advance? I don't want to spend the hour finding out you wanted a list of systems. Thanks, Sharon On 3 Mar 2025, at 15:35, Lewis Kerr wrote: > Before we discuss anything commercial, I'd like to hold a discovery call. > It would run for about an hour, and it's mostly me asking questions.
