What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Sophie asked Femi Adeyemi for a terms call. He agreed to Monday morning, one to one first, and asked for draft wording beforehand, plus client benefit, a success measure and referral and implementation terms in writing.
Ask: Sophie wanted half an hour on commercial terms and the partner arrangement. Femi chose Monday morning and asked to speak without Joanna first.
Customer view: Femi wants the agreement to carry everything. He said "I don't sign anything I haven't read" and has not yet seen the draft wording.
Next: Sophie sent the draft on 4 Aug 2025 and promised a way to track whether the arrangement works. Joanna joins a second conversation.

- Sophie Ling 31 Jul 2025 10:04Hi Femi, Joanna will have given you the outline from our proposal discussion. I'd like to find some time with you to go through the commercial terms and the partner arrangement, and to hear what you'd want to see changed. Could we find half an hour early next week? I'm flexible on the day. It would also be useful to know whether you'd like Joanna on the call or would rather speak just the two of us first. Kind regards, Sophie Sophie Ling Account Executive, BG-Demo
- Femi Adeyemi 31 Jul 2025 12:25Sophie, Thanks for this. Yes, early next week is fine. Monday morning is best for me, before the diary fills up. I'd rather the two of us speak first, and then bring Joanna in once we know where we stand. She knows the delivery detail better than I do, but I want to look at the terms with a clear head. A few things I'll want to cover, so you can prepare: - What's in it for the client? Anything we recommend has to stand up on that basis. - How do we both know it's working? I'd like to agree a way of measuring that early on. - Whatever we agree on referrals and on who does the implementation work, put it in the agreement. I don't want to rely on what was said on a call. I also haven't seen the draft wording yet, and I don't sign anything I haven't read, so please send it ahead of Monday if you can. Femi
- Sophie Ling 4 Aug 2025 08:52Hi Femi, Thanks, and apologies for the slight delay. I've sent the draft wording over separately this morning, so you should have it before we speak. Do tell me if it hasn't arrived. I'll make sure the three points you raised are on the agenda, and I'll bring a suggestion for how we'd track whether the arrangement is working, for you to pick apart. Referrals and the split of implementation work will be written into the agreement rather than left as an understanding. I'll send a calendar invite for later this morning. If the time doesn't suit, just say and we'll move it. Joanna can join us for a second conversation once you're happy with the direction. Best, Sophie
