What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Nell Ashcombe asked Richard Lazenby for a 30-minute executive sponsor call. He replied warmly, said B-Viz gives branch, credit and key account teams one picture, offered slots, and sent contract matters to Fiona.
Ask: Nell wanted to hear first-hand how B-Viz sits with the leadership team, without an agenda. She asked for a couple of slots over the next week or two.
Customer view: Richard said branch, credit and key account people now see the same picture, and that this is why they bought it. He has not looked at every screen himself and defers detail to Neil and contract matters to Fiona.
Next: Nell should pick one of the offered slots, Wednesday late morning or the Monday after, so his office can diary it. He also offered introductions to regional leads.

- Nell Ashcombe 2 Feb 2026 17:08Richard, I would like to set up a conversation between the two of us. As your executive sponsor on our side, I want to hear first-hand how B-Viz is sitting with you and your leadership team, rather than only through Daniel and Neil. I am not coming with an agenda or a pitch. I mostly want to know what you would like to leave the call with. If there is something about how the branches, trade credit and key accounts use the data that you would change, I would rather hear it from you directly. Thirty minutes should do it. Could you suggest a couple of slots over the next week or two? I will fit around you. Best, Nell
- Richard Lazenby 5 Feb 2026 17:30Nell, Good to hear from you, and thank you for asking. I heard a bit about B-Viz at the last trade dinner, in fact, from another merchant who had been asking what we use. Good merchants know their customers, and that is the whole reason we bought it. Let me tell you what my lads found: when a builder rings up, the branch, the credit team and the key account people can now see the same picture. I will not pretend I have looked at every screen myself, so I will let Neil speak for the detail. Contract matters are for Fiona, so keep those with her. I am out of the office for part of next week, but Wednesday late morning looks free, or the Monday after. Let me know which suits you and my office will put it in the diary. I'll put you in touch with a couple of the regional leads as well if that is useful. Richard
