What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Lewis Kerr set out the £114k Enterprise fee and promised a written quote. Fiona Metcalfe will not agree a price by email, and listed three things she needs for approval, kept to one page.
Ask: Fiona needs the renewal fee in pounds with VAT separate, the number of users actually active against the 160 licensed, and a statement of what changes if the licence is reduced.
Customer view: she is firm that no price is agreed until she has seen Daniel's usage summary and spoken to the branch teams. She warned the end date may become a problem for the timetable.
Next: Lewis to send the quote co-termed to the renewal.

- Lewis Kerr 20 Jan 2026 11:52Dear Fiona, Daniel has told me about your conversation and the questions you have on usage. I will leave the detail of that to him, but I wanted to get in touch on the commercial side, as your Enterprise term ends on 27 Feb 2026. To put a number on it, your current contracted annual fee is £113,500, exclusive of VAT, for 160 licensed users. I do not want to quote the renewal figure from memory, so I will send a written quote over today once I have checked it against your order form. It will be co-termed to your renewal and will show the VAT position clearly. I am not suggesting any change to your users or connectors. If the usage case does not support the current size, I would rather talk that through honestly than have you commit to something that does not fit. Could you tell me what you need from me, and by when, to take this through your own approval process? Kind regards, Lewis Lewis Kerr Account Executive, BG-Demo
- Fiona Metcalfe 23 Jan 2026 12:59Lewis, Thank you for the note. I will look at the quote when it arrives, but to be clear, I am not agreeing a price by email, and I will not do so until I have seen Daniel's usage summary and spoken to the branch teams. For our approval process I need three things: the renewal fee in pounds with VAT shown separately, the number of users actually active against the 160 licensed, and a clear statement of what changes if we reduce the licence. Please keep it to one page. We will look at it at renewal, and I will tell you if the timetable becomes a problem given the end date. Fiona Metcalfe
